Chapter 833
“So, don’t you care about the memory that you can’t remember?”
At his words, she fell silent instantly. She knew he was referring to the memories of her leaving the Youngblood family and falling into the sea.
Although she had not actually remembered them, she had a rough idea based on Carlos’ words. However, Jonathan was unaware of that.
His eyes were fixed on her as if he were observing her reaction.
She took a deep breath and said to him, “For me, the most important thing is the present. I am willing to remember the past with you if it is a lovely memory. If it is a painful memory, I would rather forget it.”
“Is that so?” he murmured.
“Yes,” she replied. In fact, she would prefer not to recall those traumatic memories. Perhaps if she did not remember them, she would not have to endure the agony she had felt then.
After a pause, Rosalie raised her hand and gently touched Jonathan’s face. “Jon, if you truly want to recover your memories, just let nature take its course. Do not put your well-being or health at risk for it. For me, the most important thing is that you live well.”
Suddenly, Jonathan felt a sharp pain in his head.
He could not breathe when he heard the phrase “live well” from her, it was like a thousand boulders were slamming down on his heart./
“How can I live well if you are not with me?” The sentence slipped out of his mouth subconsciously.
When he said that, even he himself was taken aback.
“Why did I say such a thing? Furthermore, I felt as though I had already said those words countless times. Have I ever said this before? Was it following her fall into the water?” he mused, and suddenly his head throbbed even more.
The next thing he knew, his face had turned even paler, and large beads of sweat had formed on his forehead. Groans of agony escaped his lips. As soon as Rosalie saw that, she exclaimed, “I’ll go get your medicine. Take your medicine first, and then we’ll talk.” She was about to turn and get the medicine when his arms tightened around her.
“Jon, please let me go. I need to get your medicine, or your headache will

get worse,” she urged.
“Please don’t go. I don’t want you to leave me.” He felt like a drowning person at the time, desperately clinging to the only piece of driftwood he could find.
“I’m just going to get the medicine,” she explained.
However, he seemed not to have heard her and pushed her onto the bed, continuously kissing her, bringing their bodies closer as if that was the only way he could truly feel her presence.
He could not understand why she still left him despite having forgiven.
him.
“Is there a reason behind it? Have I done anything to irritate her later on? Or maybe she had grown to despise me to the point where she lied to me and said she had forgiven me?” he pondered.
Perhaps she was only willing to stay by his side because her memories had not fully returned.
If her memories returned one day, he was not sure if she would still stay by his side.
His mind was racing with worries and doubts, but there were no answers at the moment.
“Rosie, I will not feel any pain as long as you are by my side,” he said. quietly, deepening his kiss as if he wanted to devour her.
