"Who are you trying to scare? He's your ex-husband. You think he gives a damn if you live or die?" the man sneered, crouching down and reaching for Riley's legs.

Terrified, Riley instantly pulled her knees up to her chest. "I'm not trying to scare you! Look it up online right now! Pierce is actively trying to win me back. We're planning to remarry!"

The man froze and looked back at Vince.

Vince scowled. "Once an arrow is fired, you can't pull it back. If we stop now, we piss off both sides."

The man realized Vince was right. They were already in too deep. At least if they followed through, they'd have the Miss's protection. Most importantly, she was incredibly gorgeous; he couldn't bear to let her go. Knowing she used to be the woman of the richest man in Riverport only fueled his twisted excitement.

The thought of taking a woman who once belonged to Pierce Landon was a massive thrill.

Losing all restraint, the man couldn't wait a second longer. He lunged toward Riley, untying the ropes around her ankles. "Gotta get these off first, or how are you gonna spread your legs for me?"

Riley's face went completely pale. The second her legs were freed, she aimed a vicious kick squarely at the man.

Caught off guard, the man was knocked onto his back. But instead of getting angry, his eyes lit up with sick excitement. "Feisty. I like it."

He scrambled up, grabbed Riley, and threw her over his shoulder. As he carried her toward the only desk in the room, he barked, "Vince, the floor's too messy. Let's do it on the desk. Fix the camera angle, I'll strip her and wait for you."

Vince walked over to the tripod to adjust the lens.

The man slammed Riley down onto the desk.
