Riley offered a faint smile. "I know."

At a villa on the outskirts of Riverport.

A black Rolls-Royce pulled up to the entrance.

Franklin stepped out and opened the rear door for Sebastian to exit the vehicle.

A man guarding the door quickly approached. "Mr. St. John, the targets have been brought in."

Sebastian gave a curt nod and strode toward the villa.

The guard trailed behind, reporting, "Per your orders, they remain unharmed. We just locked them in separate rooms."

Sebastian entered the villa. Two rows of men in black t-shirts and cargo pants stood at attention. Their posture was rigid, their presence radiating lethal competence. Seeing him enter, they bowed respectfully. "Mr. St. John."

Sebastian barely acknowledged them with a nod, heading straight for the security room on the second floor.

The technician inside immediately stood up at the sight of Sebastian, greeted him respectfully, and retreated to stand guard by the door.

The monitors displayed live feeds of two separate rooms. Beatrice was tied up in one, and Seraphina in the other. Both had their hands and feet bound and their mouths taped shut.

Sebastian settled into a chair with commanding authority, his cold gaze locked on the screens.

Franklin stood off to the side, unsure of how exactly his boss planned to deal with them. However, the suffocating, murderous aura radiating from Sebastian made it terrifyingly clear that he was furious.

Riley was the woman Sebastian placed above everything else. Out of everyone they could have messed with, they chose her. And to use such a filthy, underhanded tactic—it was practically a death wish.

But these two were the matriarch of the Landon family and the heiress of the Sutton family. If Sebastian really went through with punishing them, the fallout would be massive.
