After dinner, Cordelia washed up the dishes and checked her phone for a bit since she still had some time before work.

She saw a comment Deanna left on Ronan's Facebook post. She dropped a drooling emoji with a comment saying, [Wow, looks delightful.]

Cordelia's smile disappeared instantly. She understood that every word from Deanna had deeper meanings. She wondered what Deanna was up to.

Ronan replied to her. [Cordelia made it.]

Almost no one at the company followed Deanna, so most people wouldn't understand this comment. They would only see the picture Ronan posted and Cordelia's comment.

Cordelia swallowed her anger and replied to Deanna. [If you want some, come over to my place. I'll cook for you.]

Cordelia felt that her reply was both gracious and demonstrated her position as the host.

Deanna replied to Ronan, [Ronan, Cordelia invited me over to your place. Do you agree?]

Ronan replied, [Sure.]
