Xu Wenwan was like a little lamb thrown into a wolf’s den, surrounded by a pack of hungry beasts.
Xu Wenwan feigned anger and slapped away a groping hand.
"You men are so impatient. You have no sense of romance at all."
These men didn’t understand anything about romance. All they knew was that they were desperate.
The second-in-command swept Xu Wenwan up and placed her on the table. As he pulled away, he took a deep breath. "You smell amazing."
Xu Wenwan fought back her disgust. These men reeked of sweat and were ugly to boot. Out of the dozen or so of them, only two were even remotely easy on the eyes.
But even they weren’t good enough to catch Xu Wenwan’s eye.
Seeing the man who held her about to pull his hands back, she grabbed them, her smile bewitching.
"You can’t just take advantage of me and then leave. There’s no such thing as a free lunch."
"I know what you’re all thinking. I have just one condition. If you agree to it, I’ll satisfy you all."
At this, the wolves’ blood began to boil.
As Xu Wenwan spoke, she was mentally counting the seconds. ’In five seconds, I’ll have the system start absorbing their luck. This time, I’ll have it figure out a way to keep them on their feet for a few extra seconds so they only collapse after I’ve left.’
The system agreed.
As long as there was luck to be had, it was an agreeable system.
And so, Xu Wenwan went through them one by one, letting them grope her as she did.
But she didn’t care.
Once the luck of the dozen or so men had been completely drained, Xu Wenwan ruthlessly shoved them away. The men, not knowing what was happening, suddenly felt as if all their strength had vanished, and they collapsed to the ground.
Without giving them so much as a second glance, Xu Wenwan opened the courtyard gate and swaggered away.
