The Ex-Wife's Burning Elegance novel Chapter 1812

Across the street from the hotel, Sellers watched as Stella and Joshua left arm in arm, looking incredibly intimate. He raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Did it really work that easily?"

Anyone with eyes could see that the feelings between Stella and Joshua had clearly deepened.

Aurora smiled faintly. "Sellers, the simplest plans are often the most successful."

Sellers's tone was ambiguous. "Foreman is a real piece of work, willing to cooperate with us to push the woman he loves into the arms of his rival."

But Aurora corrected him. "You're wrong, Sellers. It's not that Foreman pushed Stella to his rival. Stella was never his to begin with, so how could he 'push' her anywhere?

He was just taking advantage of what Stella didn't know.

Even without him, it was only a matter of time before Joshua and Stella crossed that final line. If not now, then soon.

Could he stop something that was bound to happen? Obviously not.

If Haynes or Neville had tried to interfere, they might have had some effect. But Foreman…"

Aurora's red lips curved into a smile. "His presence has absolutely no impact on Stella and Joshua's relationship.

If Foreman had any other options, he wouldn't be working with us.

As long as Joshua is in the picture, he will never have Stella. So, getting rid of Joshua is what matters most.

That Foreman, to have almost taken Joshua out before, he's got some brains and isn't afraid to play dirty."

Sellers remembered the torment he had once suffered at Foreman's hands, and a cold light flickered in his eyes.

"A treacherous snake like that will have to be eliminated eventually."

Aurora said, "For a weary Stella, the emotional impact of yesterday's surprise was maximized.

Foreman stayed away to avoid putting Stella on guard, wanting her to relax completely.

After such a huge surprise, if their relationship progressed, their feelings were bound to deepen.

Actually, the main purpose of yesterday's plan was to test whether our next plan is feasible and worth the risk. Now it seems the plan is worth the gamble.

Of course, if Foreman hadn't gotten that information in advance, we would have had to come up with another way."

Sellers raised an eyebrow. "How did Foreman find out?"

Aurora said, "He either overheard it or found some way to trick Keen into revealing it. Sellers, I told you, that man has his methods."
