Miss Hayser's eyes narrowed. "What the hell are you talking about, Laura?"

Laura arched a brow. "I just saw your precious, pure Mr. Williams getting down and dirty right here in one of the private suites. Didn't even bother booking a hotel room."

"Say one more word, Laura, and I swear to God I will rip your face off!" Miss Hayser hissed, her voice trembling with rage.

Laura remained completely unfazed. "If you don't believe me, follow me."

A sliver of dread twisted in Miss Hayser's gut. If Laura wasn't lying, the humiliation of catching him in front of her entire social circle would ruin her.

Sensing her hesitation, her friends quickly rallied behind her.

"There is no way Mr. Williams would do something like that! Come on, Hayser, let's go prove her wrong and rub her face in it!"

"Exactly. Laura is notorious for not being able to tell guys apart anyway."

"She's just throwing a tantrum because she's jealous. If we back down now, she's going to spread this vicious rumor everywhere."

Swayed by the chorus of support, Miss Hayser finally gave a sharp nod. Jonathan had saved her when she was vulnerable and treated her with complete respect. She trusted his character.
