"Yes," Aurora replied instinctively. "Why?"

"Because I strongly suspect Henley tampered with my car. He was trying to kill me.

If you don't give me a reasonable explanation today, Ms. Williams, don't blame me for not showing you any mercy."

Henley had just accused Joshua of driving like a lunatic and ramming them on purpose, yet Joshua was claiming his brakes had been cut.

Aurora was still in the middle of her own race.

"Could this be a misunderstanding?" she asked desperately. "Henley has no grudge against you. He has no reason to tamper with your car."
