The Ex-Wife's Burning Elegance novel Chapter 2121

Not only had she lost today, but she had lost so spectacularly that even her most die-hard fans couldn't find a way to spin it.

Stella only glanced at a few comments before closing the news.

She sent a quick reply to Abby and went to sleep.

The next day, Stella received a call from Leonard Lerman.

Stella wasn't surprised.

She knew that after Leonard ran into Joshua yesterday, he would definitely call her.

"Stella," Leonard's voice remained deep. "I have something I need to talk to you about. Are you free today?"

Stella hadn't been too busy lately and had plenty of free time.

After thinking it over, she agreed.

"I'm free."

They agreed to meet at a cat cafe.

The cafe belonged to Leonard, and it housed quite a few expensive breeds of cats.

It was located in a quiet, secluded area and didn't get many customers on a daily basis.

Leonard hadn't opened this cafe for profit; it was merely a personal hobby.

There were only two servers working there. Whenever Leonard had free time, he would often come in to paint.

Occasionally, when it got busy and the servers were swamped, he would even pitch in and serve customers himself.

The people drinking coffee there probably never dreamed that the man serving them was the head of the Lerman family.

Pushing open the cafe door, Stella saw a pretty young girl blushing as she handed a pink envelope to Leonard.

Leonard glanced at it but didn't reach out to take it. He just calmly said something to her.

Disappointment instantly clouded the girl's face, but her eyes still shone with unconcealed adoration as she looked at him.

Finally, she turned and left, looking back at him every few steps.

Even as she reached the door, she couldn't resist casting one last glance his way.
