The Ex-Wife's Triumph novel Chapter 212

On December 20th, Lucy officially began her vacation and was planning to take Seven on a holiday trip.

That day, she took Seven to the hospital for his vaccinations.

Seven had grown significantly taller. His speech had become much more fluent, and his vocabulary was expanding rapidly.

Lucy pushed the stroller into the hospital, the nanny walking by her side.

Ethan Sterling happened to be in Switzerland recently. His research had hit a snag, and he was currently deep in discussion with his mentor, head bowed over some data.

Ethan looked up and spotted Lucy. He was about to go over and say hello.

But when his gaze landed inside the stroller—on the child wearing a white down jacket who looked exactly like a young Kingsley—his pupils dilated in shock. Disbelief flooded his eyes. He even subconsciously rubbed his eyes, doubting his own vision.

"My God, this is huge..." he murmured involuntarily.

His mentor looked over at the sound, frowning. "What are you muttering about? These two sets of data still have issues. Calibrate the rest yourself."

Ethan quickly retracted his gaze, giving a perfunctory reply. "Got it."

But his mind had drifted far away, entirely consumed by the connection between that child and Kingsley.

Ethan's eyes followed Lucy’s retreating figure, his fingers trembling uncontrollably. He had intended to type a message, but he was so agitated he couldn't hit the keys accurately. Finally, he simply sent a voice message to Thurston Fletcher:

[If Kingsley finds out what you've been hiding, you're dead! Pick a gravesite, brother, and I'll help dig the hole.]

Thurston listened to the voice message and instantly grasped the key point. He replied immediately: [You'd better keep your mouth shut. Don't get involved, or you're finished too. Just pretend you didn't see anything.]
