Stella Gibson watched the Phoenix Flames rise around her, yet her body felt no burning sensation at all.
Yet these flames could instantly reduce bullets to ashes, which truly amazed her.
"So the Phoenix Fire can be used this way!"
Stella marveled, her eyes glowing brightly.
Since she had the Protective Cover, wouldnât it be a waste not to cause some havoc?
Thinking this, Stella didnât bother standing at the door any longer and dashed straight inside, holding a porcelain doll.
She charged at the lead Auctioneer, raising a flaming leg to kick at him.
The black tube in the Auctioneerâs hand melted and deformed the moment Stella approached, and before he could figure out how to deal with the fiery figure before him, he was kicked flying.
The others saw this and dared not approach Stella; instead, they rushed at Greta.
Although these people were formidable, in the end, they were ordinary humans, at best dubbed as dangerous terrorists.
Greta, known as the Undying Bone in his time, was expected to be a lethal force.
In terms of danger, he was the danger within danger.
Therefore, Stella wasnât worried in the least about Greta handling them.
Bypassing these people, she arrived at the platform where a woman who had been auctioned as a "commodity" was tied up.
She lay on the platform, her naked body marked with numbers, each number corresponding to a body part to be sold at auction.
Her hands, feet, and neck were all tightly locked with silver cuffs.
Stella cursed inwardly, wanting to unlock the cuffs for her but remembered she couldnât use Spiritual Power, so she asked Five-Colored,
"Can your fire melt this lock?"
The moment Five-Colored heard, five clusters of Phoenix Fire accurately landed on the girl, instantly burning the silver cuffs to ashes without harming the girl.
The woman, previously numb and terrified on the platform, had a glimmer of hope in her eyes, a spark of life.
Stella walked to the side, pulled off the tablecloth and covered the woman, then, under the womanâs astonished and grateful gaze, and amidst the cacophony of cries for help, she moved to the large cage at the other side.
The cage contained numerous "live specimens" awaiting auction, who saw her rescue the woman, and were now desperately pleading for help in various languages.
Stella noticed the cage was also locked with a special electronic lock. Attempting to mimic Five-Colored and use Phoenix Fire to damage the lock, she found the flame, while protecting her, couldnât be used at will, and had to squeeze the porcelain doll again in frustration.
Porcelain Doll ăť Five-Colored: ...
The flame flared; the crimson Phoenix Fire dashed towards the electronic lock.
Soon, the lock melted, the power cut out, and with a click, the cage opened, and the occupants poured out like fish netted out of water.
Since they were for live auction, to ensure their organs remained healthy, the organ traffickers hadnât used too many drugs or starved them, allowing them to flee on their own.
There was only so much Stella could do for them.
They werenât saviors; they couldnât take so many people with them.
As the last person in the cage ran out, someone abruptly rushed to stand before Stella. This personâs face was entirely painted black; suddenly coming close, Stella almost instinctively kicked, thinking them an enemy, but paused as the person spoke,
"Stella Gibson!"
Stella didnât recognize the personâs appearance, but she recognized the voice,
"Ashton Todd??"
Nobody expected to encounter Ashton Todd, who had been kidnapped by the Heavenly Dao, in such a distant place.
Especially as part of a group of live specimens about to be auctioned.
It didnât make sense at all.
The nonsensical thought passed, and Stella suddenly retreated a large step from Ashton Todd, whoâd approached again.
