“Potatoes? Sweet potatoes?” A well–dressed woman who had just come from Seafarm Select Supermarket frowned right away. Disappointment and a bit of dislike showed on her face. “Who wants to buy that plain, dirt–cheap stuff? We came for strawberries!! heard the strawberries here taste even better than Seafarm Group’s Crimson Sweet!”
What mattered most was that they cost less.
Sure, they had enough money to buy Seafarm Select’s premium products, but they had worked hard to earn that money.
If they could buy something delicious for less, why wouldn’t they?
“Exactly. If there are no strawberries, why are we even lining up?” another stylish young person said while already turning to leave. This group had come from an expensive supermarket, so they had no interest in normal items like potatoes and sweet potatoes
To them, those were things bought in bulk by poorer people or by people focused on saving money. That kind of food didn’t match their status or taste.
The moment they heard there were no strawberries, most of their excitement disappeared, and many were ready to leave.
Just as they were about to walk away, several customers from the front came out after finishing their purchases. They were chatting happily and looked very satisfied.
One of them carried a clear freshness box, and the bright red strawberries inside stood out right away.
While walking, he picked one up and took a careful bite. His face lit slowly, looking happier than if he were eating some fancy meal.
up
with pleasure. He closed his eyes slightly and enjoyed it
“Wait! Look at that guy!” one sharp–eyed Seafarm customer shouted, pointing at the strawberries in the man’s hands.
That shout instantly grabbed everyone’s attention.
“Excuse me! Did you buy those strawberries here?” A middle–aged man hurried over and stopped him while he was still enjoying the taste.
The man who got stopped quickly hugged the box tightly to his chest, looking at them with suspicion, like he was scared someone might grab it.
But once he realized they were just asking about the strawberries, his mood changed right away.
His eyes shone, and he started praising them with strong excitement. “Yeah! I bought them right here from Tycoon Boss! Oh my god, these strawberries are amazing! Seriously! I’ve lived for decades and never tasted strawberries this good! Sure, the ones sold outside for 200 stellar coins each are cheaper. But compared to these, they’re trash! These have the real strawberry flavor–rich and strong, super fragrant, super sweet, with just the right bit of sourness. After you eat one, the taste stays in your mouth! And the best part? You feel energized after eating them! I’m not joking. Totally worth it! Even if the line was twice as long, I’d still wait!”
Normally, strawberries in the market were small, about 0.7 to 1 ounce each.
Even at 200 stellar coins each, they weren’t exactly cheap.
As for Seafarm Group’s Crimson Sweet, that was a premium new type with larger fruit. With Seafarm Group’s branding, the price was naturally very high.

But strawberries costing 500 stellar coins each that actually tasted better than Crimson Sweet? For people at their wealth level, they could easily afford them.
After hearing that man’s excited praise and seeing how carefully he held the strawberries like they were treasures, the Seafarm customers who had wanted to leave were instantly hooked. Their mouths were already watering.
Thinking about the strawberries they had tasted earlier at Seafarm Select Supermarket, along with the unforgettable smell they had caught near Rosalie, they instantly believed him.
“They’re really that good?”
“We’re already here. Let’s just buy some and try.”
“Hurry! Get in line now!”
No one knew who shouted first, but this group that had just come from Seafarm Select Supermarket suddenly forgot about status and image. They rushed to the very back of the line as fast as they could, scared they might miss out if they were even a second
late.
The line became much longer right away.
Just after they reached the back of the line, breathing heavily and guessing how long the wait might be, Vivian, Naomi, and the others also arrived after parking their hover cars.
The moment they saw the endless line, their hearts sank.
“Oh my god… this many people?!” Vivian wailed.
“How long are we supposed to wait?” Naomi said, stunned.
A kind older man in front of them heard them talking and turned around. With a mix of sympathy and helplessness, he gave them bad news. “You girls came for the strawberries, too, right? Honestly, don’t even bother lining up. We just heard from Tycoon Boss that the strawberries are limited. They’ll probably sell out around where I’m standing. As for you? No chance.”
“What?! No chance?” Vivian and the others looked completely shocked, their faces full of frustration and disappointment.
They had rushed all the way from Seafarm Select Supermarket, only to find out they didn’t even have a chance.
Still unwilling to give up, they exchanged looks and decided to push forward a bit to see if luck might help them.
Since they were small in size, they squeezed through gaps in the crowd, slowly moving ahead while earning annoyed complaints from the people they bumped into.
