Elizabeth leaned back in her shair, her brows tight with frustration as she stared up at the ceiling. Every call she’d made ended in a dead end.

It was obvious this wasn’t just Seafarm Group stinking up trouble.

Nobody but someone with real power could get five different private spaceship companies to use the same excuse and shut down all business to one planet.

Somebody wanted her stranded on A001, and they weren’t even bothering to hide it.

She drew a long, steady breath, forcing herself to swallow the anger burning in her chest. She stood and strode out of her office with her head high.

Her voice rang out, firm and clear. Tiffany, spread the word. Pause today’s harvest. Everyone switches back to prepping the fields and planting. Sort all the picked corn and tomatoes by quality and get them in cold storage.

Her orders shot through the farm like lightning.

When word spread that the boss had to cancel the Mercury Plaza sale because every private spaceship company refused jobs to A001, the whole mood changed. The usual harvestday energy collapsed into a thick, worried silence.

How can they do this? There’s never been any trouble here before. There’s no danger at all!

This has Seafarm Group’s stink all over it! They can’t stand to see us doing well!

This is just vicious. They’re trying to choke us out!

If any of those jerks show their faces, I’ll take them down myself!

The anger rippled through the team.

Most of the workers had spent years tossed aside and forgotten. Elizabeth and her farm had given them a new start, hope, and a place to belong.

Now that someone was threatening to destroy all that, not one of them would let it happen.

Erin, busy sorting produce, saw the tension growing. She raised her hand, voice steady. Boss, if we can’t get a ship from Centria Planet, what if we try other planets? Like Odyssey, or even farther? Maybe those companies aren’t caught up in this.

A few faces brightened, hope flickering.

But Fiona, the communications lead, shot the idea down. It won’t work. I just checked. Over 80% of the big spaceship rental companies in the Kingdom are based on Centria Planet or owned by Centria investors. The rest only fly to certain regions, and most won’t even come to Centria. Even if they do, with things this tense, they’ll get a risk warningfor our planet

The hope vanished as quickly as it had come.

Tiffany stepped forward, voice sure and calm. Boss, if we can’t rent a ship, let’s just buy one. It doesn’t need to be huge

enough for our security team. My damage level and Melton’s are both under 30% now, thanks to the farm’s food. That’s the legal safety line for space travel. We can fly ourselves and move the goods to Centria Planet.

Melton stood next to Tiffany. She’s right! My damage level’s down to 78%. I can fly aship, no problem. In the service, I piloted much tougher craft than this.

Skylar, usually shy, didn’t hesitate. He raised his hand, determination shining in his eyes. Count me in! I just tested at 79% yesterday. I can help with security.

And me! I’ve never flown a warship, but I’ve got a civilian pilot’s license. My damage level’s at 77%, so I can be your copilot.

I’m good too! Count me in!

And me!

It was like a spark in dry grassone after another, they all stepped up.

Many of them had once been soldiers, labeled unstable and dumped on this planet after injuries. Most had thought their lives were

Elizabeth’s farm and her food had brought them back from the edge, healed their bodies and mental power, and given them dignity and a home.

The farm wasn’t just a job. It was th
