Even the backdrop had been redesigned. It now carried the Seafarm Group logo along with a bold slogan–Protect Food Safety. Reject False Advertising.
Tonight, Bruno planned to go live across the Starnet and publicly reveal the investigation results on Tycoon Farm’s video. With an official report from a top research institute, he intended to expose Tycoon Farm’s scam once and for all.
The marketing department had already prepared the next steps. They planned to report Tycoon Farm to interstellar regulators, work with industry groups to organize a boycott, and launch comparison ads across every major platform.
Everything was ready.
Bruno opened the encrypted file and began reading the report.
At first, he was standing.
After reading the summary on the first page, he slowly sat down.
After the lighting and image analysis on the second page, his expression changed.
By the time he reached the biological movement consistency scores on the third page, sweat had already formed on his forehead.
Then he flipped to the conclusion page. Bruno stared at the words for a full two minutes without moving. Finally, he picked up his device and called Kent.
“Mr. Alden,” he said, his voice dry. “The report is out.”
“What’s the result?”
Bruno stayed silent for several seconds before taking a deep breath.
“They said the video is real.”
The line went quiet for five full seconds.
Kent spoke again, his voice much lower than before. “What did you just say?”
“The report was signed jointly by three researchers from the Kingdom Bio–Research Institute. Every page includes raw system data to support the findings.” Bruno slowly read the conclusion word by word. “After a full investigation, no signs of fabrication, synthesis, or post–editing were found in the footage. The video is authentic.”
“That’s impossible.” Kent let out a cold laugh filled with disbelief. “You’re telling me the video is real? That the Cluckoo Chicken farm video is real? Bruno, what kind of investigation company did you hire? The Kingdom Bio–Research Institute? Are you sure you didn’t get scammed?”
“Mr. Alden, I personally reached out to them. The contract was for a rush investigation worth 500,000 stellar coins. I checked all three researchers myself. They’re legitimate senior experts.” Bruno sounded exhausted, though he didn’t even realize it himself. “More importantly, before sending it to them, I had our tech department run similar tests. The result was the same.”
Sitence fell again.
Bruno lowered his head and looked at the report. He gripped the paper so tightly that its edges wrinkled.

The studio lights were already on. The cameras had been set up. The slogan on the backdrop shone brightly under the lights, One of the technicians in the corner gave him a hand signal, letting him know everything was ready. They could start the livestream. anytime.
Slowly, Bruno placed the report on the table and smoothed out the wrinkles with his palm. Then he looked up at the camera pointed directly at him.
“Mr. Alden,” he asked quietly, “are we still doing tonight’s livestream?”
In the end, Seafarm Group went live, as scheduled.
Bruno stood in front of the camera, but the backdrop behind him had changed.
The old slogan about food safety and false advertising was gone. In its place stood a giant holographic screen that repeatedly played clips from Tycoon Farm’s videos.
Cluckoo Chickens pecked at feed. Crackshell Crabs crawled along the shallow shore.
Every frame was enlarged, frozen, and marked with suspicious details.
Bruno’s expression remained serious and calm. His tone carried the confidence of someone who had rehearsed this speech many times.
