Elizabeth had built it all from nothing. With her own hands, her own time, and endless patience, she had turned an impossible idea into reality on a forgotten wasteland planet.
Zaylee lifted a hand and lightly tapped the holographic screen with her fingertip, as if flicking Elizabeth on the forehead from far away.
“You, honestly…” she said with a helpless smile. “How could you even think about raising something this dangerous?”
And somehow, she had actually succeeded.
The smile in Zaylee’s eyes slowly faded into something deeper. “Eliza, do you realize what you’ve done?” she asked softly. “You
didn’t just raise a few chickens and crabs. You’re shaking the foundation of the entire food system the kingdom has built over the last three hundred years. All those experts who swore live farming could never retum are probably getting proven wrong right
now.”
Elizabeth gently shook her head. “I’m not trying to prove anyone wrong,” she said. “I just thought… food this good would be a waste if nobody raised it.”
Zaylee burst out laughing. “You’re right. Food this good would be too much to miss.” Then her tone turned colder. “Which is exactly why certain people need to keep their hands off it.”
She said it lightly, but there was a firmness underneath that left no room for argument.
After the call ended, Zaylee stood quietly in the living room.
Warm sunlight streamed through the floor–to–ceiling windows and/spread across the floor.
She lowered her eyes to the lips lifted again.
Creen one last time. Elizabeth’s smiling face was still there. Without noticing, the corners of Zaylee’s
When she looked up, she saw Jeremy standing at the entrance of the room.
His steps were slightly faster than usual.
He still carried himself with the calm discipline of a well–trained butler, but Zaylee knew him too well. Jeremy was far from calm right now.
“Mrs. Zaylee,” Jeremy said as he stopped three steps away. Both hands carefully held a silver–gray storage capsule, as respectfully as if it were a priceless treasure. “Mrs. Elizabeth sent this over just now. The messenger said it contains the farm’s first batch of Crackshell Crabs from this morning. They’ve already been cooked and sealed in heated containers. Mrs. Elizabeth hopes you’ll enjoy them while they’re hot.”
Zaylee’s gaze fell onto the silver gray storage button.
She reached out and took it.
The smooth inetal shell felt cool against her fingers, polished enough to reflect their outline like a mirror
She activated the device.
The moment her mental energy entered the storage space, a rich and strong aroma burst out like a living thine and instantly fitted

It wasn’t a simple smell. The scent unfolded layer after layer.
The first thing that hit was the fresh sweetness of steamed crab. Clean. Pure. It carried the faint mineral scent of seawater and the rich aroma released from the crab meat under high heat.
Then came the spicy crab. The bold smell of spicy seasoning, roasted garlic, and buttery crab meat filled the air all at once. The rich aroma hit fast and hard, making the stomach warm instantly and leaving a deep craving behind after just one breath.
Beside her, Jeremy unconsciously swallowed.
He had served the family for 30 years. What fine food had he not seen before?
Top chefs from the Central Sector’s famous Starway Diner had personally cooked for the Hewitts. Even royal recipes from Eastern Star had once appeared on their dining table.
Those dishes were elegant, expensive, and flawless in technique. Every one of them belonged in a culinary textbook.
