Chapter 1540: Bribe The Volunteers

A great cheer went up in the dining hall.

"How many volunteers do you need? For a Clan Credit each, we will be more than happy to help you with whatever you need today."

Karl pretended to be torn about the cost as he hesitated.

"Well, at a clan credit each, I suppose that I can afford to have ten beta testers before I turn over control to the Elders.

Assuming that it works, that is.

There are only two conditions. You need to have three skills that did not come from your skill tree, and you need to have purchased all the skills that your class can from the skill tree, or equivalent method.

Oh, make that three conditions. Your System should come from the World Dragon, not one of the other Gods.

The Immortals laughed. Nearly every one of them had managed to get enough skill points or rewards to buy out their skill tree by now. It usually only took fifty or sixty years, and most of them were still in the Spirit Immortal stage of training when they got the last of their skills.

"One per person, in theory. If you qualify, it should let you try. There is a small timer between uses, but it’s not a major limitation."

That calmed many of their fears. They weren’t going to run the item out of charges testing it and cause the Elders to have to wait for Karl to manage to make another one.

So, it was just everyone under the rank of Clan Elder that they had to consider.

One man raised his hand. "I will volunteer. There are no druids in the Clan stronger than I am, so I will take a spot on their behalf."

"Alright. That’s the druids covered. I wasn’t originally going to sort by class, as there are so many warriors compared to everything else.

But I would like to see at least one or two duel and group tanking specialists among the volunteers, if possible.

Worst-case scenario, you get nothing but a credit. Best case, you get a whole new advanced class plus a Clan Credit."

That brought a few more to their feet, and then back down to their seats as a more powerful group stood up and forced them back down.

"Alright, we’re at six members now. Can we get some mages or clerics? If we do this right, we can send two groups of five out to test their new Classes at the same time."
