The First Legendary Beast Master novel Chapter 1553

Chapter 1553: All Things Are Pets?

Once he finished selecting his Class, Karl felt the power of the System flowing into him and the new skills appeared in his mind.

That was when he realized that he had misinterpreted his new Class entirely.

[All Things Are Pets] didn’t create a mental space for more beasts. He could still do that with [Blessing of Family], but the new Beast Space was a physical separate space.

Also, what it called a [Kennel] for the pets was not a small cage. When he focused on Leo, the space that it wanted to create was a gigantic island with a thatch hut and a magical food dispenser.

It was almost like Leo’s own space, but with a house.

The one it would make for Rae looked like a haunted house, if someone massacred the population of some random town inside it.

She wanted one.

Then she made a great realization. She could have one. She just needed Karl to cast the spell in her space, and she would have a whole special museum of carnage to sleep in.

Karl rolled his eyes as he picked an empty spot to cast the spell, and the creepy house appeared in Rae’s space.

Strangely, it felt like it was both part of her space, and not at the same time. It was a Separate Space, within the Mental Space. That was going to need some investigation, as it felt like there was some essential knowledge involved that would help Karl understand the Fundamental Rules in a more profound way.

Then, he was back in the real world again, with all the Immortals staring at him.

"Hey, he’s got a new class. The colour of his name in the System Interface changed. But I don’t know what this one is either. Since when do names come in gradients?" One of the men asked.

"Yeah, that’s not normal. But his whole name looks strange to me with that Epic Grade constitution that gives him the boss mob outline. The gradient class colour is definitely a new one, though." The woman who was taking bets agreed.

"I guess we just ask. What is your new Class, and what category does it belong to?"

"It’s a Beast Taming related class, so Support category, I suppose?"

There were some cheers, and then the crowd went silent again. "What about the grade and the name of the Class? We have heavy wagers depending on this."

Karl wondered if he should say it out loud. But if they’d never heard of it, it shouldn’t do any harm. Besides, the beasts already knew. They could see his interface.

"It’s called Ancient Pet Sitter. I don’t know grades, but it was outlined in golden light, the same as the other options I had."

Min just laughed. "But there are scaly puppies. I love Cerro. This skill is absolutely wonderful."

A few of the others realized that there was another use for this space. With the Fundamental Rules that it had, you could use it to progress in. The aura that certain plants and resources gave off had a resonant effect on the System.

So, you could grow in the space, and it wouldn’t matter that the resources were part of the illusion, as the effects they had on you would remain real. Though, you likely couldn’t consume them and have the effect last past leaving.

But it might be possible to consume them and get an effect that ended before you left. The effect shouldn’t change, just as you wouldn’t come back to life if one of those Cerro impaled you before the spell ended.

It might not be some completely broken free loot zone, but it was an absolutely amazing space to work on your Power Matrix, or to absorb energy, if you needed it for a skill or progression technique.

"Alright, I will admit that your Class Skill is pretty awesome. You can make a perfect Illusionary Domain to house beasts in. And, it’s useful for everything else. Compared to some advanced combat skills for a Paladin, it does feel like you’re on a whole other level." The warrior agreed.

"There are some fighting skills as well, but they’re in the tree, and I haven’t purchased them yet." Karl explained.

"Well, that’s true for us all. Congratulations.

But now, we need to see what your wife manages to get. We have a lot of wagers set to double or nothing."
