The First Legendary Beast Master novel Chapter 1614

Chapter 1614: For The Guild

Nachtia surged with power, and Karl began to channel more of it into her as the dragon advanced, moving past the bottleneck and into the Mythic Rank.

His idea was that if he gave her everything that she needed to reach Immortality while the Inheritance was merging with her body, she should have much less trouble advancing.

The process was much like an evolution, in that her body was undergoing a fundamental change, even though she wasn’t changing species.

She also received a new constitution type skill, Karl noticed.

Her name in the System Interface wasn’t the same as his, but there was a simple silver symbol on either side of her name.

Perhaps on par with an Elite mob in the dungeon? The sort of sub boss that led certain groups?

Or perhaps it was a class-related thing?

Either way, the dragon was gaining immense power, and her dragon form was expanding rapidly as she made it to Mythic Rank.

That might also be an issue for their group composition, though without Dana at Totem they no longer had a full group. Well, not from the core members of Karl’s adventuring group.

There were other Totem Ranked members of the Darklight Host that they could go with.

Then, Karl remembered that there was more he could do for the Guild.

He was still technically a branch leader for Drodh, so it shouldn’t be wrong for him to give them rewards.

Currently, the Guild had {Eternity’s Blessing} a Mythic Rank item that gave the whole Guild combat power equivalent to the peak physical condition for their species at that Rank.

But he could do better than that now.

While everyone else focused on the continued growth of Nachtia, and Karl continued to add power to the black dragon, helping her assimilate the Inheritance, his mind wandered to the System Menu.

{Guild} Darklight Host

{Guild Rank} Branch Leader

{Guild Skill} None [Available]

{Guild Items} 1/5

That was interesting. Not only could make and link four more items for the Guild, he could assign them a skill.

Karl checked the option to see what he had to do to activate the function. It said available, but didn’t specify what the Guild Skill was.

{At Immortal Rank, a Branch Leader may assign one Common Grade skill known to the Branch Leader for use by all Branch Members.}

Karl looked at his skills, and realized that he didn’t actually know many Common Grade skills that weren’t something that most of the Guild could already use.

Anything really good was Rare or Epic Grade at the very least. Some were marked as Class Exclusive and unavailable, but most were simply too high of quality to be used.

Then, Karl laughed as he realized there was one Common Grade skill that he could assign to the whole Guild.

Golem.

Not the advanced Golem spells, just the basic golems. But how funny would it be if every single member of the Darklight Host could use a Golem?

"Ophelia, Tessa. What do you think would be best as a skill for every Guild Member to gain? Golem, Mana Pylon, or Regrowth?"

"What sort of question is that? Who even starts a conversation with that?" Ophelia asked.

"I’m serious. There is a Guild Skill slot open, and I need to pick a Common Grade skill that I know to put in there for everyone to use. I think that there are some limitations on it, but I didn’t read the fine print." Karl explained.

"Of course you didn’t. Well, we’re actually pretty good on mana, and we’ve got Mana Pylon as a Skill Book in the Library, so our casters mostly know it already.

The mages know Golem, but having another one when we don’t have a mage would be nice.

However, for the craftsmen, Mana Pylon is the clear winner. For everyone else, I would think either Regrowth or Golem. It’s difficult to say." Ophelia replied.

Tessa nodded. "We’ve got so many people doing such wildly different things that I don’t think there is one specific skill that would be perfect for everyone.

However, the world is short on healers all the time, and many of the groups that the members try to go with have terrible healers. So, letting them use a large area heal over time effect would be amazing.

Plus, it’s handy in the workshops, where burns and injuries are a constant issue."

Karl nodded.

{Guild Skill Set} [Regrowth]

{Guild Skill Change Cooldown} 30 days

{When multiple members of the Guild are in one group, only one activation of the Guild Skill may be active at a time}
