The First Legendary Beast Master novel Chapter 1802

Chapter 1802: They Love Tessa

With Tessa recovering from Tribulation, and the air in the Tiny World still crackling with power, the young dragons began their day, learning all about the essentials of power and the world.

The tribulation of Tessa was a reminder to them that you had to work hard to earn the power that you were born to wield, and that there was no slacking allowed if you wanted to reach the highest peaks.

Of course, most of the dragons didn’t know that they would never have to undergo the Tribulation.

They were born in a world with Immortal energy, it had become part of them before they hatched, and as such, they were already considered to be Immortal Rank beings in some miniscule way.

It wouldn’t be a fast process for them to get up to the actual power level associated with the Immortal Realm, especially given the slow growth rate of dragons.

But they would get there.

Nobody left the space until Tessa woke up, nearly an hour later, fully healed but exhausted.

"Good morning sunshine! Welcome to Immortality, we have snacks!" Karl greeted her as the War Priestess woke up.

"That’s the first thing? The first thing that you thought that I should hear once I woke up as an Immortal?"

Karl laughed. "Yep. That’s the first thing that will welcome you into the rest of your never-ending life. It was that or have Thor sing you a song about hatchlings."

Thor gasped in realization that such a song had actually been an option.

If he had thought of it, he would have done it.

Tessa smiled as she saw the series of expressions cross Thor’s face, and then patted him on the shoulder. "Don’t worry about it. After all that, I could actually use something to eat. I am starving."

Lotus laughed and made a grand gesture to call the bunnies in.

"Fortunately for you, I am your friend, and I always have food ready. Now, we feast and celebrate. Ladies, bring anyone else who would like to join the festivities over to the main room of the house, and we will be there shortly.

Tessa just needs the first round of snacks to get enough energy to get down the stairs without Thor carrying her."

That wouldn’t actually be a problem in Thor’s mind, but Tessa was an Immortal now, and there was some sort of dignity required.

Or so Lotus assumed.

Really, it was the other way around. They were now the weakest and among the youngest Immortals. If there was any time to be undignified and childish, it was now. Compared to the Elders, who had lived for a thousand years or more, Tessa making Immortal at just under thirty years old made her a practical child in their eyes.

They didn’t need to tell Lotus that, she would do it all by herself once she made it to Immortality.

Besides, Tessa wasn’t the sort. She had children on the way, a stable relationship, a war god to please by taking care of the Orphans they had adopted. So many orphans.

In the eyes of the Red Dragon, the bunnies also counted as war orphans, as the Darklight Host had killed their previous owner and taken their homes. So, they were displaced by war, and most of them had no parents.

Perfect qualifications to be taken care of by the Red Dragons.

Possibly because they couldn’t catch them. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Yewan insisted that sweets were still ranked second, simply because they lacked meat.

Technically, the burritos did as well, but they had eggs, and that was basically meat of the unborn, which was pretty hardcore.

Yewan liked eggs.

Soon, Tessa was swarmed with hatchlings, eager to tell her all about how happy they were that she had reached immortality, and how they would get there soon, and how there were snacks, and how they were all excited about the day that her eggs hatched.

It would be a sad day for them when she went to the Immortal world to start building her power.

But they didn’t know it was going to happen yet.

"Alright, everyone back up two steps. You can’t all hang off Sister Tessa at the same time, you’ll tear her robes," the Matron announced.

"Yes, Miss."

The dragons dutifully took two steps back, and then immediately returned to their overlapping questions and congratulations, as Tessa knelt to pat them all and assure them that she was listening to their stories.

Karl laughed as he realized that Tessa was never going to be able to outrun the group mom role that the Red Dragon Clerics were saddled with.

Even the hatchlings treated her that way.
