The moment that they were out of the training, and the effects of the training area wore off, the whole group of Elven students seemed to mentally collapse.
They were exhausted beyond what they had ever thought was possible, and that dark elf was a slave driver.
It didn’t matter how good he was, that man was evil.
"I see that you’ve all gotten properly acquainted with my old friend Drazzit. Isn’t it a wonderful training experience? It’s just a shame that I couldn’t make him as strong as he is in real life, my skills simply aren’t up to the level that he is at.
But if you stick with the Darklight Host long enough, you might get to meet him one day.
He doesn’t live on this planet, he’s resident in the Divine Realms these days, an ancient Demigod that loves to train new generations of Elves how to fight.
But he’s very much still alive."
The students looked horrified.
If he was that bad at Supreme Ranked, how terrifying would he be as a Demigod? They hadn’t even forced him to use a skill the entire time that they were there. He only relied on the basics of the combat style that he was teaching, nothing more.
And that was still enough to humiliate all of them at the same time.
They were Elves, for the goddess’ sake, not Orcs or humans. They were already agile and coordinated, but he made them all look like newborn fawns wobbling on their spindly legs.
"How was it? Was it amazing? Sister Lotus said that we can all go in to train later," Yewan demanded when the Elves picked themselves up to go for dinner.
"That is one word for it.
But I suspect that you all will get a different teacher than we did. Karl and Dana both got different ones, and you’re a dragon hatchling, so they’ll want to teach you about flying."
Yewan laughed and puffed a small bit of black energy.
"They’re always teaching us how to fly better. There is an obstacle course here that we have been trying to master since we were just hatchlings, but we still can’t get to the time that the Matron set.
She promised that if we could beat the fastest time, we could have two whole days off flight training to just play.
Isn’t that great?
But we haven’t beat it yet, so we’re still doing the daily training until we do."
"Who set the high score that you’re trying to beat? Was it one of the bigger dragons? They’ve got an advantage in pure speed."
Yewan shook his head. "No, it was Sister Opal, the Forest Trickster. She’s crazy fast too, and agile. But she’s not a dragon, so we can definitely beat her soon."
That was definitely not true, and every Elf knew it.
