[You know, we could return the scale to the world as soon as it’s powerful enough, right? Like, we could hand it to one of the Supremes, have them load it up with power and then send it back to do its job.] Karl reminded the bird.
Hawk saw very little benefit in that plan.
How were they going to know what direction they were supposed to be going if they weren’t given explicit directions? Look how many water element creatures there were? He even had a water element sister.
Remi rolled her eyes at the water hating bird.
[The scale is Life Element. No matter how long you keep it in the fire, that’s not going to change.]
Hawk frowned, a twitch of his head feathers in phoenix form.
If the scale wasn’t going to become fire element, shouldn’t he just give it to the Oak Dragon now and have her finish it for him, so they could give it to Sapphire?
[Dropping that surprise on her might be too much of a shock. We should warn her first.]
Cara joined the mental conversation. [Or, get this, we could loan it to Matilda, and she could make it Legendary, then put it back. That would make it nearly as good as new, and the birds of the Golden Dragon Nation wouldn’t have to suffer the weakness of the times between resurgences.]
That did sound good. But chaos instead of fire? That wasn’t the scale’s element either.
His sister was definitely trying to prank him.
Cara sighed at her brother’s suspicion. She wasn’t planning any sort of prank with the scale. The real entertainment would come after they empowered it and sent it back. There was no need to tamper with the scale at all.
Karl cut off their argument. [We can get to that later. For now, we will focus on getting the scale looking presentable. There is still a bit of damage to it that needs to be repaired. I will work on that.]
"Did anyone know of an available trial or dungeon that we can have all the newly advanced members enter? I know that we just finished a Trial, but getting them all into a dungeon to consolidate their gains should save them a lot of time adjusting.
Especially the ones that have been isolated in the Tiny World since they reached Immortality."
Oak shrugged. "That trial that Rue upgraded in the Tiny World is every bit as good as a dungeon. They can do it in ten or twenty-person groups if they’d like. Since they’re all at Spirit Immortal, they’re not going to do anything that will hurt a Supreme Ranked training space."
"Right. Almost forgot about that.
Letting them consolidate gains in there is as good as anywhere else. The trial might not be a proper dungeon, but we’ve got it coded to give rewards. That was designed more for the noncombat sorts so that they would have an incentive to go, but who knows what the System will spit out, since we randomized it." Karl agreed.
