Dana considered the possibilities. "I think that we could actually do quite well if we made the Villa Stones more like that. But I would say that the usage case is much more niche here than it is on a Divine Battlefield world."
Sam nodded. "Yeah, there it’s a necessity. Here, it’s more of a crutch for those who like to get in fights, but who don’t have a Karl to back them up."
That definitely felt like a dig at Cara.
"Actually, why don’t we go to the arena and watch some fights from a private booth? That gives everyone something to do other than working in silence? We wouldn’t want our littlest one to get bored." Dana joked.
Skadi didn’t mind the teasing, and she also liked to watch the fighting in the arena.
The bunnies and the constructs were nice to her.
"I think that Oak is getting close to figuring it out. I saw her last night at the party, and she had a strange look, like she had just made a profound realization," Skadi announced as they began to walk.
"Well, if she did, I’m sure that she will come looking for us. That will also make the day fun, but she might be busy with Remi all day. She’s not a pill master like Andrea, but she is an Alchemist, and Remi has a new potion.
The dragon will want to learn it before anything else.
So, we should have at least half the day before she comes looking for me, if she really has figured out the game."
The Doppelgänger was actually identical to the green dragon in body, it was only the face that was different, and today even Sam’s hair matched Oak’s, and it was out in the open, with no hood.
Skadi suspected that Sam wasn’t even trying anymore and was just trolling the dragon.
That was a problem for later, though.
She took Dana and Sam by the hand, and then shifted them straight out of the Tiny World into the city, at the gates of the arena.
There was no official event going on right now, but it was open for challenges free of charge. You just had to sign up in case there was a queue. But the arena floor had been split into a half dozen different separate spaces so they could have multiple fights, and you could watch them all from a bird’s-eye view, or use viewing magic to get a better view.
Unless you wanted to pay the extra to buy or rent a viewing stone, that acted like a flying observer, allowing you to move your point of view freely around a chosen space in the arena.
It only worked in the arena, and it was expensive, but you could rent it for the day for ten gold coins, which was what everyone who didn’t live in the city did. Not the cheapest option, as much as a small group would spend on snacks.
But totally worth it for the view that it projected.
Those in the VIP booths had no such issues, as the spell was built into the booth so that they could watch in a dozen different ways, or even make their booth feel like it was inside the arena itself.

Too many people didn’t understand the concept of "Unwrap as you eat".
