Chapter 247 Liam Panics
Amid the fierce battle cries of the Wahlstrom family’s elite, a gradual pallor and bewilderment began to creep into Liam’s eyes. How did they end up together?
Even if Finnegan were to bring Mandy and Trey with him, Liam would remain fearless, even serene.
However, the one Finnegan had by his side was Alisha, the daughter of the Wahlstrom family.
She was a person who even his grandfather, Reginald, would treat with respect.
Finnegan halted, raising his right hand gently, then brought it down forcefully. “Clear the field!”
As his words fell, Duncan dashed toward the bodyguards led by Daniel. The elite members of the Wahlstrom family retreated in a timely manner, providing Duncan with ample space.
The cutlass thrust forward, and the bodyguards from the Sable family died on the spot.
With eyes blazing red, Daniel brandished his large sword, slashing directly at Duncan. “Die!”
Duncan slightly lifted his eyelids.
With a swift wave of his right hand, the cutlass cunningly slid under the large sword, aiming straight for
Daniel’s heart.
Axel’s face turned pale. “Daniel! Dodge quickly!”
Ducan’s speed was too fast, so fast that it had pierced Daniel’s heart before Axel could even voice a warning.
“Pfft!”
Daniel’s body stiffened, his eyes wide open as he fell heavily to the ground.
“Daniel!”
Seeing his only younger brother stabbed through the heart and fall, Axel could no longer concern himself with protecting Liam.
With a roar, he charged forward, aiming his gun directly at Duncan, ready to avenge Daniel by killing him.
Just as he made a move, a streak of black light appeared before his eyes.
In the next moment, Axel’s gun-holding hand was severed from his body and fell to the ground.
Standing before him was the indifferent-faced Doom Star.
Axel couldn’t help but open his mouth wide in pain, exclaiming, “My-”
Before he could finish his sentence, Doom Star’s black saber had already swept past his throat, severing his life with a single stroke.
Wide-eyed, Axel fell heavily backward onto the ground, dead beyond any doubt.
Liam’s body jolted, finally reacting. His face twisted in anger as he roared, “Finnegan, what are you trying to do? And Ms. Wahlstrom, how could you be with someone as lowly as Finnegan?”
He knew that Finnegan had a good relationship with the Haimowitz and Miles families and the Langdon family.
He also knew that Finnegan had been hired by Alexander as a special physician for the General Hospital.
He was well aware that Finnegan had saved Soren and thus had a bit of a connection with the Caulder family.
Liam, though battered, managed to stand up. “Finnegan, I underestimated you,” he admitted. “I didn’t expect you to have your pawns around me all this time. But what of it? All the things I’ve done to you were just minor pranks. But you stormed in tonight without reason, killing so many of my people. Just wait for your bad luck to hit. Even if you have the Wahlstrom family and the Wright family backing you up, so what?”
Hailey sneered, “Mr. Sable, have you forgotten what you just discussed with Axel? How can you have the audacity to claim that what you’ve done is minor?”
Upon hearing that, Liam suddenly realized that Hailey had heard everything he had done against Finnegan’s family.
Suddenly, anger surged in his heart, causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood. “Hailey, f*ck you!”
“This time, you’ve indeed wronged Hailey.” Finnegan reached out and took the knife handed over by the Wahlstrom family’s elite. He walked toward Liam as if he were taking a stroll. “She did send me a message just now, saying that she found out my parents were framed by you, with Axel acting on your orders. But even before she sent the message, I already knew you were the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.”
With a slight chill in his eyes, he stood in front of Liam “Otherwise, why would I have come so quickly?”
Liam panicked. “Finnegan, you… Ah!”.
Before he could finish speaking, a flash of a blade suddenly appeared.
Finnegan severed Liam’s right arm.
At this point, all of Liam’s courage and arrogance had vanished. He could feel the breath of death. “Finnegan, you can’t kill me. My grandfather is Reginald. Besides, we don’t have a deep-seated grudge. It’s not worth it for you to kill me over this!”
Finnegan brandished his sword again, showing no mercy. “Indeed, it’s not a deep-seated grudge that warrants a fight to the death. However, in my book, harming my family is a capital offense!”
Whoosh!
His left arm severed from his body, Liam cried out in agony, “Finnegan, you won’t be able to bear the consequences of killing me, even if the Wahlstrom family and Wright family are—”
Finnegan interrupted, “I could even kill Solomon and Vilmar. Who do you think you are?”
