The Healing Avenger novel Chapter 315

Gideon had directly exerted eighty percent of his strength.

Coupled with his cultivation of the Postliminary Rank of Enigma Realm, even a bull would be knocked over by this slap, clearly showing his ruthless nature.

Finnegan slightly lifted his eyelids, standing still.

It was as if he was overawed by the imposing aura of Gideon.

Just as Gideon's palm was a mere three centimeters away from him, stirring his hair with the breeze it created, Finnegan made his move.

With a slight tremor in his right shoulder, a crisp slapping sound rang out.

In the next moment, the formidable Gideon was sent flying sideways, with five or six teeth spitting out, along with a spray of fresh blood.

He slammed onto the ground with a thud, rolling for about five or six meters before it finally came to a halt.

The scene instantly fell into a deathly silence, with everyone's eyes wide open in shock.

Shaun nudged Zephyr with his shoulder. “What just happened?”

Zephyr shook his head. “I don't know!”

They all saw Gideon charge toward Finnegan, and before their eyes, a slap was just about to land squarely on Finnegan's face.

As for why Gideon was slapped and sent flying, it was not entirely clear.

Isn't it said that Gideon is a powerful elite in the Postliminary Rank of Enigma Realm? Isn't it said that among the younger generation in Loang, Gideon's martial prowess is ranked in the top ten? Jacques was even more dumbfounded. “Jacqueline, am I hallucinating?”

Jacqueline blinked, quickly realizing what was happening. She hurriedly ran toward Gideon, calling out, “Gideon!”

Gideon was not seriously injured, but half of his face had swelled up, his mouth resembling a sausage.

With several teeth missing, his speech was blurred when he opened his mouth to say, “How dare you lay a hand on me?”

He pushed away Jacqueline, who was trying to pull him.

Leaping forward, he charged toward Finnegan, his embarrassment turning into rage. “I'm going to kill you!”

As the vice president of the Martial Arts Alliance and the youngest son of the president of Southern Martial Arts Alliance, he grew up basking in the limelight.

Hence, he had never been humiliated before.

Putting aside the fact that there were so many people present, the mere presence of Jacqueline, whom he admired, made him wish he could tear Finnegan to shreds.

“Kill me? You're not worthy!”

With a disdainful retort, Finnegan confronted him.

Seething with rage, Gideon threw a punch, no longer holding back, aiming straight for Finnegan's face.

The punch stirred up a gust of wind, yet Finnegan did not dodge or evade.

With his right hand clenched into a fist, he punched the incoming punch from Gideon.

Bang!

With a muffled thud, Gideon's face abruptly changed, and he was unable to suppress a piercing scream of agony.

With just a single punch, his finger bones were shattered by Finnegan, leaving his flesh bloody and mangled.

The direct surge of hidden strength had even shattered one of his arms, causing his right hand to hang limply.

However, Finnegan did not let him off so easily, reaching out to grasp his other arm.

With a commanding tone, Jacqueline exclaimed, “Stop!”

Disregarding the injuries on her body, Jacqueline charged forward and leaped up, her long leg sweeping toward Finnegan's head.

Without turning his head, Finnegan fiercely flung Gideon behind him.

Weighing over a hundred kilograms, Gideon was immediately sent flying, heading straight toward the sweeping long leg of Jacqueline.

Jacqueline's face drastically changed as she attempted to withdraw her foot.

However, she was in mid-air, so she couldn't retract her foot. As a result, a long leg brutally struck Gideon's head.

Jacqueline looked up, struggling to shout in anger, “What are you still standing around for? Get to it!”

It took a while before those twenty or so followers finally reacted.

However, they merely exchanged glances with each other, and no one dared to make a move.

Jacqueline was taken aback, her irritation intensifying. “Are you all deaf? What did Tyrone instruct you to do?”

One of the leaders hesitated before saying, “Ms. Zymons, it's true that Mr. Calandrino instructed us to follow your orders. However, Mr. Calandrino gave us new instructions this morning. If you are seeking revenge on Mr. Larkin, we should do nothing.”

What? Jacqueline stood frozen in place. What on earth is going on? Why did Tyrone give such instructions?

Suddenly thinking of something, she thundered, “Could this be Old Mr. Wahlstrom's intention?”

Originally, it was Theoden who had instructed Tyrone to send people to protect Fleur Villa and obey the orders given. Since Tyrone's men were no longer assisting, the only person Jacqueline could think of was Theoden.

The leader responded, “We're merely following Mr. Calandrino's orders. I'm not aware of anything else!”

Jacqueline was enraged when she heard that. “How could Old Mr. Wahlstrom do this? Has he forgotten that without my grandma, the Wahlstrom family wouldn't be where it is today?”

With a cold laugh, Finnegan uttered, “Idiot!”

Jacqueline's pupils suddenly constricted. “What do you mean?”

Finnegan stood before her, looking down haughtily. “Mdm. Yeatman indeed helped Old Mr. Wahlstrom. However, who are you to Mdm. Yeatman? Are you her biological granddaughter?”

Before Jacqueline could respond, Finnegan fiercely kicked her in the stomach, showing no mercy despite her being a woman. “Even if you are the biological granddaughter, the debt owed by Old Mr. Wahlstrom is to your grandma. What significance do you hold?”

Jacqueline groaned and spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

With her hand clutching her stomach, Jacqueline was filled with humiliation, yet she couldn't even utter a harsh word. It felt as if all his internal organs were entangled together.

Twisting his neck, Finnegan clapped his hands and turned around. “That's why one must be self-aware in life. Don't assume you can act recklessly just because you have a bit of backing. In this world, plenty of people have nothing to lose.”

As soon as those words fell, regaining his breath, Gideon suddenly charged forward. “Then I'll take you out first, and we'll have one less such people!”
