Chapter 773
Halsey looked puzzled. “Get where? Where exactly are we going?”
Stanley and Wendy rose to their feet.
Wendy’s lips curled into a small smile. “Just come with us, and you’ll understand.”
Stanley took Wendy’s hand in his as they headed out, and Halsey hurried to keep up. “Wait for me!”

Jessica raced to the Saville Villa–Ida’s new home since she moved out of the Larson family’s estate. The villa had been a gift from Horace, situated in a famous, wealthy neighborhood where every inch of land was priceless.
Jessica pressed the doorbell repeatedly, her urgency making the chime ring over and over.
Soon, a majd hurried to open the door. “Coming, coming! Why the rush… Ms. Larson!”
When the maid recognized Jessica, her expression turned respectful.
Jessica strode inside without hesitation. “Where’s Ms. Olsen?”
There was no sign of Ida in the living room. “Is she upstairs? I’ll check.”
The maid quickly stepped in front of Jessica. “Ms. Olsen is taking a milk bath upstairs, and we’ve prepared lobster bisque for her. She doesn’t want to be disturbed right now, so
Jessica’s eyes sharpened. “So what? Am I not allowed upstairs?”
The maid lowered her head, unable to reply.
Jessica’s frustration boiled over.
Here she was, on fire with urgency, while Ida was upstairs indulging in beauty treatments and enjoying life.
Horace truly spoiled Ida–at least materially. After leaving the Larson family’s estate, Ida moved into this luxurious villa, complete with maids to cater to her every need. She was living more comfortably than anyone else.
Jessica said firmly, “I have something very important to discuss with her. I’m going upstairs!”
Without waiting for permission, she marched up the stairs and stopped at the door to Ida’s room.
The maids trailed behind nervously, pleading, “Ms. Olsen hates being disturbed during her treatments. Maybe you could wait a moment and just give her a heads–up first?”
“No way! I can’t wait. I need to see her right now!”
Jessica was desperate. She had just been knocked down by Stanley, Wendy, and Halsey, while Ida was treated like a queen. She found it laughable–Ida actually thought she was a big shot just because she was living in an expensive villa.
Jessica’s hand gripped the doorknob, and she pushed the door open without hesitation.
Inside, Ida had just finished her bath and was wearing a silky slip dress, carefully applying essential oils to her skin.
Ida was serious about her beauty routine. At her age, if she didn’t keep it up, she’d lose out to the younger women. She certainly wasn’t about to lose to Brittany. After all, Horace was hers.
When she heard the door open, Ida looked up sharply, displeasure flashing in her eyes. “Who gave you permission to come in… Jessica?!”
Ida’s gaze locked on Jessica, standing in the doorway.
