Chapter 790
Ida’s smile shattered in an instant. “What did you say?!”
Halsey stepped forward confidently. “With Wendy’s talent and strength, she doesn’t need to cling to anyone. The Larson family is just a bonus to her success.”
Ida’s face darkened.
Horace said firmly, “Wendy is now part of the Larson family. If anyone dares to provoke her or show disrespect, I’ll have them kicked out immediately.”
His words were clearly meant for Ida, with no regard for their past
Ida clenched her fists at her sides and glanced at Jessica.
Jessica stepped toward her parents without hesitation. “It’s time you made your choice.”
Wendy asked calmly, “Choice? What choice?”
Jessica smirked proudly. “Haven’t you heard? I asked my parents to choose between you and me, and they still haven’t decided.”
Wendy nodded. “I see.”
Jessica’s voice took on a sharper edge. “I know you’ve done a lot for my parents, and they’re taking you in to repay that–but I’m their biological daughter. You’re not going to ask them to give me up, are you?”

Wendy gave Halsey a calming look before turning to Horace and Brittany. “Mom, Dad, I—”
Horace cut her off. “You don’t need to say anything. We’ve already made our choice.”
Brittany and Horace exchanged a glance. “Yes, we’ve made our decision.”
Jessica’s eyes sparkled with anticipation. “What’s your choice? Who do you pick?”
At that moment, the butler approached. “Mr. and Mrs. Larson, we have brought the Aetheris Crown.”
The Aetheris Crown was a masterpiece handcrafted from countless precious diamonds and gemstones, priceless beyond measure. It was a tiara fit for a princess.
Horace nodded. “Bring it out.”
Soon, a black–clad bodyguard appeared, holding an exquisite box. Inside rested the Aetheris Crown.
Gasps filled the room.
The crown gleamed brilliantly under the dazzling lights, its radiance so intense it took everyone’s breath away.
“The Aetheris Crown is stunning!”
“This is the crown Mr. Larson bought from a royal auction for the Larson family’s heiress. Tonight, it will grace the head of the
