The Heartbreak Prescription novel Chapter 900

Chapter 900

Ever since Halsey got pregnant, her morning sickness had been terrible. The sour bile burned her throat, and it stung so badly it brought tears to her eyes.

Halsey turned on the faucet and splashed her face with cold water.

Just then, Geneva appeared behind her. “Hi.”

Halsey straightened up. “Hey. Are you here to use the bathroom?”

Geneva smiled. “Are you close with Maddy’s brother?”

The question caught Halsey off guard. She nodded. “Yeah, I know him.”

Geneva stepped closer, a mix of shyness and excitement in her voice. “Could do me a favor?”

Halsey tilted her head. “What kind of favor? If I can help, I will.”

Geneva hesitated, then asked, “Could you help me get Maddy’s brother’s Instagram handle?”

Geneva wanted Shaun’s Instagram handle.

The moment Halsey saw the look on Geneva’s face-shy and hopeful-it all clicked. Geneva

had a crush on Shaun.

Honestly, it made sense. A man like Shaun-young, handsome, rich, and the CEO of a company

-was exactly the kind of guy who’d attract attention. Countless beautiful girls would throw themselves at someone like him.

And come to think of it, there really weren’t many women around Shaun. Aside from Chelsea, his circle was mostly men.

Maybe it was because of that that Halsey had overlooked something-Shaun was a man a lot of women would want.

She froze. Geneva wanted her to get Shaun’s Instagram handle?

Geneva moved closer, tugging on Halsey’s sleeve in a pleading tone. “Please? Could you help me out?”

Halsey really didn’t want to ask. “Why don’t you ask Maddy? He’s her brother. It’d be easier.”

“If I ask Maddy and she says no, it’d be super embarrassing in front of the others. I don’t want my classmates to know. That’s why I’m asking you quietly.”

Then she added with a soft whine, “Can you help me out? Please?”

Halsey sighed. “Alright. I’ll try, but I can’t promise he’ll give it to me.”

She wanted to say that Shaun had a girlfriend, but that was his private business. It wasn’t her place to share it.

“Yay! I knew you were the best. Thank you!”

Left with no choice, Halsey forced herself to go. She didn’t see Shaun in the living room, but she quickly spotted his tall figure in the kitchen.

Shaun had already started cooking.

As she stood there, Halsey thought back to what the girls had said. Men like Shaun were dangerously attractive.

She walked in and stopped at the doorway, not quite sure how to bring it up.

Shaun was chopping vegetables. When he looked up and saw her standing there, he gave a small smile. “Why are you just standing there? Hungry?”

Halsey shook her head. “No.”
