Shaun lowered his head and kissed Halsey.

Halsey was caught off guard, her mind going fuzzy. She tried to push him away, but Shaun held her wrists and kissed her even harder.

The movie played on, the couple on screen lost in a heated moment, and Shaun wasn’t holding back either. He kissed Halsey like she was the most delicious dessert he couldn’t wait to devour.

His lips trailed from her mouth to her flushed cheeks, then buried into the soft strands of her hair.

Halsey’s whole body went weak. Who would’ve thought their first movie together would turn out like this?

She tried to resist. “Stop! We’re in a movie theater!”

Shaun whispered against her ear, his breath hot and low, “But… I want you.”

That voice-it was husky and magnetic, like he was begging her in the softest, most irresistible way.

Halsey felt her resistance crumble. She never had much to begin with when it came to Shaun.

Then he said, “Help me.”

Help him?

He was begging her for intimacy.

Halsey’s lashes trembled violently. “Don’t be like this. We’re not even home…”

Shaun took her soft hand in his and guided it toward him. His voice was hoarse. “Don’t be scared. It’s okay.”

She instinctively tried to pull away, but he held her still and kissed her again, silencing every protest.

Halsey didn’t even know how the movie ended. She didn’t know how she walked out of there either. All she remembered was Shaun holding her hand, gently leading her out of the theater.

They strolled down the street together. Shaun looked at her. “Are you mad?”

Halsey shot him a glare and used his own line on him. “What do you think?”

Shaun laughed out loud.

He laughed!

Halsey balled her fists and gave him a little punch.

Shaun wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.

The two of them stood close under the night sky, wrapped in each other’s warmth. Halsey felt a kind of happiness she had never known before.

Just then, a few teenage girls passed by and spotted Shaun. Their eyes practically sparkled with admiration as they squealed.

“Oh my god! He’s so handsome!”

Halsey looked up at him. Dressed in a tailored black suit, tall, clean-cut, and elegant, Shaun looked like he belonged in a magazine. Young, rich, and dangerously good-looking, he really was a glowing wherever he went.

She already knew how attractive he was. Pretty girls like Geneva had been falling all over themselves for him.

Halsey narrowed her eyes at him, slightly jealous. “Well, Mr. Handsome, looks like those girls are checking you out.”

Shaun smiled and said, “What girls? I only see one in my eyes-you.”

Halsey couldn’t help but laugh.

Shaun pulled her close again. “Let’s go, girlfriend.”
