The Heartbroken Luna's Choice Banish Love novel Chapter 160

Chapter 160

Third Person’s POV
Luna Chloe approached on her stiletto heels.

Her pace was steady, her spine straight–she radiated a sense of calm, iron–clad self–possession.

She kept her pheromones tightly reined in, yet they were potent enough to make any lower- ranking omegas nearby feel instinctively uneasy, causing them to back away.

It was the natural aura of a high–ranking Luna.

The young she–wolf wolf hadn’t realized the danger was closing in.

A second later, Chloe was standing right in front of her.

No eye contact, no verbal warnings.

Chloe raised her hand in a motion so light it was almost graceful, but in the blink of an eye, her fingers underwent a partial shift—her nails elongating, sharpening into metallic, lethal points.

With a tiny, crystalline sound, the clasp of the necklace was severed instantly, sliced as cleanly as a piece of thread.

Chloe retracted her hand, the necklace now dangling from her fingers. The movement was crisp and decisive, without a hint of hesitation.

The young she–wolf finally reacted, her face pale with shock as she reached out to snatch it back.

Chloe didn’t even look at her.

With a flick of her wrist, she dropped the necklace into the hands of a passing waitress. Her voice was flat, as if she were merely disposing of lost property. “Keep this safe.”

The entire process took less than two seconds.

It was too fast for anyone to protest.

Finally, Chloe spoke. Her voice carried a lazy, dismissive irony, yet every word stayed perfectly within the lines of pack protocol. “Since you know my mate gave you this, you should also understand–a piece like this isn’t something you’re allowed to wear in public.”

Stripped of her jewelry in front of everyone, the young mistress felt a surge of pure humiliation. Her pheromones flared out of control, cloyingly sweet and intentionally provocative.

But the moment the scent began to spread, it was crushed by Chloe’s aura.

It wasn’t a violent attack; it was a total hierarchical override.

In that instant, the young she–wolf’s body stiffened. Instinct moved faster than emotion: she realized she was overstepping against a high–tier wolf.

Yet, she ground her teeth, her voice trembling as she stood her ground. “Chloe, don’t get too smug. Alpha Curtis is going to terminate his bond with you sooner or later!”

Chloe smiled. The expression touched her lips but never reached her eyes.

She picked up a wine glass, her movements flawlessly elegant. A second later, she tilted the glass.

The deep crimson liquid cascaded over the woman’s head, soaking through her hair and into her collar, staining the fabric of her dress. In an instant, the “provocative” look she had carefully crafted was drowned in absolute misery.

The wine mixed with her haywire pheromones, creating a scent that was chaotic and embarrassing.

Chloe’s voice was soft, but it felt like a thin blade skating across the woman’s pride. “At best, you are nothing but a breeder for Curtis.”
