Chapter 1055 Greg’s Wish
Chapter 1055 Greg’s Wish
Greg’s voice was barely a whisper as he muttered, “Derrick… Derrick…”
Jared leaned in, looking concerned. “Dad? What are you saying?”
“Derrick… I want to see Derrick,” Greg continued, his voice thin and broken.
“Are you asking for Derrick? You want to see him, don’t you?” Jared asked.
“Derrick. Derrick,” Greg repeated, his voice clearer this time.
Everyone in the room instinctively looked over at Sebastian.

Sebastian remained calm. “I’ll talk to my father about it later. You all know how things went back then. It was my Grandpa who cut ties with him and banned him from coming home.”
Jared looked pained. “He’s regretted that for a long time. The last time we talked, he told me he wanted to see Derrick again. Now that he’s like this, Derrick is clearly the only thing on his mind. No matter what happened, Derrick was always his favorite.”
‘It’s true,” Foster added. “I’ve caught Grandpa in his study a few times just staring at photos of Uncle Derrick. He looked so lonely. Now that he’s getting older, he just wants to see him.”
Ruby sighed. “With Dad in this state, of course he wants to see Derrick. They say when people are at their weakest, they call out for the person they miss the most.”

Jared nodded. “True. Let’s wait until his condition levels out. And don’t mention this to him yet. If Derrick refuses to come back, I don’t want Dad to be disappointed. That would only hurt his recovery.”
“Don’t worry, we won’t say a word,” Ruby replied.
Since they didn’t know when Greg would fully regain consciousness and the hospital was getting crowded, Jared spoke up. “You guys should head home. I’ll stay the night. If anything changes, I’ll call you immediately.”
“I’ll stay with you,” Sebastian said. “It’s better to have two people here.”
Jared shook his head. “No, go home. I’ve got this. Get some sleep and come back in the morning.”
Sebastian didn’t push it. “Fine. We’re heading out. I’ve already sent Unno over. If anything happens, just go to him.”
“Got it,” Jared said.
With that, the group left the hospital.
That night at Ravenwood Manor.
Sebastian stood by the floor–to–ceiling window in his study, radiating a cold, murderous intensity. He looked aloof and imposing, with a look in his eyes that would terrify anyone. He picked up his phone and pulled up a contact several times, but he never hit
