Chapter 132 Exposing Michelle in Public
Damn Stella. This was all her fault.
While Elias was at the payment counter, Amber couldn’t help muttering loud enough for others to hear. “I don’t get what there is to be so smug about. If he really spoiled her that much, why didn’t he drop millions on the restorative cream for her? Probably because creams are something you use up.”
“Miss Shaw doesn’t need it. She’s already gorgeous.”
“Jewelry you can keep forever. And take back after a breakup. Bet that’s the real reason.”
The more Amber talked, the more worked up she got.
“Miss Moore.” A staff member approached with a pleasant smile. “Since you’re one of our valued customers, and the Moore family has always been a regular here, we actually have three jars left in our private reserve. The owner said it’s a special perk for our VIP clients. If you’d like them, the total is one hundred million. We can arrange delivery to your estate.”
Amber’s eyes lit up. “Yes! Deliver them to Moore Manor.”
Never mind that it was ten million more than the auction price. She wasn’t the one paying.
“Will that be card today?”
“You’ll
get paid when you deliver. You think the Moores can’t afford a hundred million?”
“In that case, please sign the contract. This cream is extremely limited and in high demand. All sales are final–no returns, no exchanges. If you’d like to secure them, Miss Moore, we’ll need a deposit today. Delivery tomorrow.”
Right there, in front of everyone, Amber agreed without hesitation.
Others in the room immediately started placing orders too. Even if they had to wait years, they were willing.
Amber shot Stella a triumphant look. “This is what family backing looks like. Relying on a man? That’s for women who have nothing else going for them. Stella, you want some? Too bad. Sold out. You’ll have to wait in line like everyone else.”
“Wait–isn’t that cream patented by the Master Healer? Stella’s his apprentice. Shouldn’t she have unlimited access?”
Amber’s smile froze mid–smirk.
Stella couldn’t help but laugh.
Her master’s retirement fund had just gotten a very generous boost. All thanks to Amber.
And someone as obsessed with appearances as Amber would never cancel an order.
“Master. Well? Is it her?”

Tess was practically bouncing with impatience.
Through the one–way glass, the Master Healer watched Tiffany collect her purchases. He adjusted his reading glasses, squinting.
“You set me up on purpose.”
Amber’s face was bright red with fury as realization dawned.
“How is it a setup? Everyone knows Stella is the Master Healer’s apprentice. His only one.”
“Wait–Miss Moore knows that too, doesn’t she? She admitted it on TV herself.”
“Old age must be affecting her memory.”
“Didn’t the staff confirm with her twice? And she was thrilled about it. Now she’s having second thoughts because the price went up?”
The whispers weren’t quiet enough for Amber to miss.
“Dad. Are you hearing this?”
Felix was mortified. Anyone would think the Moores were broke.
She bought it, so what? Why make a scene?
“Enough.”
“Dad.”
“Still causing problems?”
The sharpness in Felix’s voice made Amber back down. She shot Tiffany a desperate look.
“Dad, I need to use the restroom. I’ll go wait in line later for those pastries you like. You and Leo head back first.”
“Grandpa. Let’s go.”
Leo didn’t want to stay another second. Watching them humiliate themselves in public was exhausting. He used to care about the family name. Now? He couldn’t be bothered.
As Amber hurried toward Tiffany, Stella’s lips curved into a small smile.
On the other side of the glass, Tess held her breath. “Master. Well? Is it her?”
The Master Healer chuckled awkwardly and pressed his lips. “Tess. Don’t you think Amber’s just insufferable? Always provoking Stella, spreading rumors. Unbearable.”

Tess perked up. “Right? No decent person likes her. I’ve wanted to punch her for ages.”
He patted her shoulder. “Go ahead. I support you. Morally and financially.”
“You still haven’t answered me. Is she Michelle or not?”
The Master Healer removed his reading glasses, tucked them carefully into their case, and offered an embarrassed smile. “My eyes aren’t what they used to be. But there are other ways. We’ll find out for sure.”
“What ways?”
“That’s where you come in.”
Tess frowned, pointing at herself. “Me?”
“You want to punch Amber, don’t you?”
