Chapter 162 The Miracle Pills
The guests whispered among themselves, curious about the sweet scent.
Aaron took a deep breath. His eyes lit up, and his confused look quickly turned to realization.
This is… heart–saving pills.
He was overjoyed. He turned and rushed straight to the gift table.
His sudden movement caught everyone’s attention. All eyes fixed on the birthday man.
Seraphina kept dancing and painting, but no one was watching her. She felt awkward. But she remembered how nervous Sienna had looked. She told herself the plan must have worked.
She glanced at Elias and smiled secretly.
After tonight, I will be Elias‘ wife.
She had always thought Elias would never fall for anyone. When he married, it would be an arranged match–and she would be the one.
But Stella had appeared out of nowhere and ruined everything.
‘Who… who gave this gift?”
Aaron crouched on the floor. He carefully picked up the fallen heart–saving pills like they were priceless treasures. His heart ached when he saw the broken porcelain bottles.
These were heart–saving pills. A whole bottle of them.
‘Is this medicine?”
‘Must be.”
‘Who gives medicine at a birthday banquet? It’s bad luck.”
‘Maybe it’s health supplements.”
‘But what kind is it? It smells amazing. Just one breath makes me feel energetic.”
Everyone’s attention was now on the pills. No one cared about Seraphina on stage anymore.
The music kept playing, but she had no choice but to finish her painting.
“This gift is from Mr. Moore and his daughter,” the butler announced.
Aaron was shocked.
“Two bottles? Both broken?”
Aaron was devastated.

The guests could tell something was very special here. This was the Cross family. Aaron had seen everything. For him to be this upset, the medicine must be extraordinary.
“There are five bottles in total,” Jasper corrected.
“F–five… bottles?”
“Dad, are you okay?” Amelia hurried to support him.
Aaron was too excited to speak clearly. “These… these are the heart–saving pills, right?”
Jasper nodded.
Aaron’s heart ached even more.
These were the legendary heart–saving pills. Even a single pill was impossible to find at auctions. And someone had given him five whole bottles.
“Heart–saving pills? Are these the ones made by Master Celeste?”
“Oh my god! Those are priceless! Mr. Moore is so generous.”
“Who was so careless? Those can’t be bought with money.”
“How did Mr. Moore get so many?”
“Does he know Master Celeste?”
The whole room was buzzing.
Seraphina finished her painting absent–mindedly. She had heard every word. She walked over in disbelief.
Heart–saving pills?
They are nearly impossible to buy, even with money.
How could anyone have five bottles?
Aaron took one pill right away. His face glowed. He held Jasper’s hand tightly.
“Jasper, where did you get these? They’re sold by the pill, not by the bottle!”
Everyone leaned in, waiting for the answer.
Jasper looked at Stella, his eyes full of pride.
“Miss Shaw is the famous Prodigy Healer. Maybe she knows Master Celeste,” someone said.
“Even if she did, no one gives such precious pills like candy!”
“It’s impossible. Master Celeste’s pills only appear at auctions, three at most. These can’t be real.”
