The Heiress With Seven Secret Identies (Stella Shaw) novel Chapter 453

"Get the house doctor in here," Felix countered.

Mark's heart sank. Jasper remained doubled over, his features contorted in a display of pain that left everyone shaken. Outwardly calm but dying inside, Vivian focused entirely on his wounds, cleaning and dressing them with trembling precision.

"Jasper, stay with me. Look at me," she pleaded.

Jasper slowly opened his eyes, staring blankly at his surroundings.

"Jasper," she called again.

The familiar voice sent a jolt through his chest.

Was that... his mother?

The sound of her voice brought tears to his eyes.

"Jasper, take this medicine."

He opened his mouth obediently, his eyes fixed on the face he knew so well. He couldn't believe it. "Mom?" he choked out, his voice thick with emotion.

"It's okay. I'm right here."

Jasper held his head, looking around the room as two conflicting sets of memories battled for dominance.

Where was he? The Moore estate? Why was he back here? Shouldn't he be with Stella and Chloe?

As the two timelines merged, clarity finally struck: today was the day he and Nicole were supposed to run away together.

Was this a parallel world? In his other life, he hadn't yet discovered that Amber wasn't his biological sister at this point.

"Jasper, how do you feel?" Vivian asked softly.

With his eyes brimming with tears, Jasper pulled her into a desperate embrace. "Mom."

It was her. It was really her. He had finally found his mother again. In that other life, she had passed away shortly after Nicole went missing.

Nicole! He had to find her.

As he tried to get up, Felix blocked his path.

"Look at you—you're a mess," Felix barked. "Where do you think you're going in that state?"

This time, Jasper didn't argue. His eyes burned with pure hatred as he lashed out, striking Felix directly.

"Have you lost your mind?" Felix sputtered, recoiling in shock. "I'm your father! You... you actually hit me?" He turned to the room, roaring at the staff. "Are you all just going to stand there? Stop him! Don't let him leave!"

The guards moved in, but Jasper fought like a man possessed. His movements were faster and more lethal than before, every strike landing with surgical precision. Anyone who stepped in his way was instantly cut down.

Where was Jasper?

As the wind and rain intensified, Nicole's hope began to wither.

Jasper, are you really going to stand me up?

Miles away, Jasper was fighting his way toward the university through the storm. The bandage on his forehead was soaked through with blood, and his head throbbed with a dizzying haze. He forced himself to stay conscious, refusing to succumb to the darkness.

Meanwhile, Jaron had received a call from Cody. Sensing that Jasper's plan had likely failed, he raced toward the campus through the downpour, only to be caught in a violent car accident along the way. Amelia, who had prepared the getaway yacht, realized the plan had fallen apart when no one showed up. On her trek back to Azure Peak City, she was caught in the gale; a falling palm frond struck her in the head, and she was rushed to the hospital.

Back at the university, Nicole finally let out a sob of pure despair. But she couldn't just give up. She had to find him. She refused to believe Jasper would abandon her; something must have held him back. Letting her umbrella fall to the wet pavement, she turned to run.

Suddenly, the screech of tires made her freeze. Her lips parted in shock as a familiar car pulled up. All her resentment vanished in an instant.

The driver's side door swung open, and Jasper stepped out, his clothes saturated with blood. Nicole's eyes widened in horror. She let out a cry and threw herself into his arms.

The impact of her embrace made Jasper stumble. He felt dazed, barely able to keep his footing.

"Jasper, what happened to you?" Nicole cried.

Jasper didn't answer. He simply stroked her hair, holding her tight as if to verify the warmth of her body.

"We need to get you to the hospital," she insisted.

"Nicole, don't talk," Jasper rasped, closing his eyes as tears began to fall. "Just let me hold you."
