Dr. Jaxon's eyes lit up. "You have a solution?"

"I need to consult with cardiothoracic surgery to map out a comprehensive delivery and surgical contingency plan." Evelyn handed the tablet back to him. "The optimal scenario would be performing the cardiac repair simultaneously with the delivery. But that requires flawless cross-departmental coordination and places immense demands on the anesthesiology team."

"As long as there's a chance, we will fully cooperate!" Dr. Jaxon replied eagerly. "The patient is only twenty-eight, and this is her first pregnancy. Both she and her husband are desperate to save this baby."
