Chapter 283 Conversation Between Brothers

Luke rubbed his neck and had an inscrutable expression on his cold face.

He checked the time and said, “Since Ziana is back, let’s not worry about tomorrow’s matters for now. Let’s rest early tonight.”

Max realized what Luke meant and followed suit, “Let’s all go to sleep. There are important matters to attend to tomorrow.”

He was referring to Charlie’s treatment of Boris.

Yudel nodded thoughtfully and walked inside. Suddenly, he asked, “Ziana has to go record a program tomorrow, right?”

“Yes.” Luke answered, “She will leave early in the morning, around eight o’clock.”

“Okay.” Yudel breathed a sigh of relief, “I hope she doesn’t suspect anything.”

Luke’s lips twitched and he sneered, “What can we do if she does suspect something?”

Upon hearing this, Yudel felt annoyed and said, “Let’s talk about it later.”

As they were talking, they realized that Clare was still standing there and hadn’t moved.

“Clare, what are you staring at?” Yudel didn’t understand, “Let’s go back and get some rest.”

“You guys go ahead, I have something to do.” Clare waved his hand.

Just then, a convoy of cars slowly drove up to the castle.

Yudel stopped in his tracks, puzzled, and asked, “Where are you going?”

“To find Sean.” Clare was a typical pretty boy who was usually casy-going, but at this moment, face was cold and stern, “I was supposed to go earlier, but I heard that Ziana hadn’t returned, so I waited until now. Since I’m not sleepy, I’ll go and teach him a lesson myself.”

his

Sean had tampered with Ziana’s horse during the day, causing it to panic and almost have an

accident.

This was not something that could be ignored.

Yudel had wanted to send Donald to deal with it, but in the blink of an eye, Clare had already gotten

into the car and driven away.

“Let him go.” Luke said emotionlessly, “He won’t be able to sleep even if he goes home.”

Yudel raised an eyebrow, “Why do you say

that?”

“We still have to dig for ore in the Galia region, but the recent progress has not been smooth. He’s

very frustrated, so let him vent his anger.”

“I see why he was so eager to do this today.” Yudel suddenly understood.

The two brothers chatted casually and when they got into the elevator, they coincidentally mentioned Edison and Ziana.

Yudel still couldn’t understand, “Did Ziana go to see Boris tonight? Isn’t she in contact with Edison lately?”

“Do you want them to be together?” Luke suddenly looked at him with a chilly expression.

Yudel was honest, “I respect Ziana. As long as she’s happy and wants to be with someone, I’ll support her. But for now, Edison does seem like a good choice.”

“How do you know he’s a good choice?” Luke sneered back.

The three brothers had a good relationship and wouldn’t keep anything from each other.

When Luke asked, Yudel knew exactly what he was referring to. He responded calmly, “Are you still suspicious of his involvement in the kidnapping case of Ziana five years ago?”

Luke remained silent and just looked at him calmly.

Yudel pushed his glasses up and emphasized the fact calmly, “We have been investigating his background with Princess Lia for many years, more than a hundred times, but we have not found anything unusual. Those people who kidnapped Ziana are all dead, and we have thoroughly investigated, but you know the result.”

The people who kidnapped Ziana ranged from twelve to thirty years old, but there was no information about them to be found.

Within the confines of Oslosall, no clues could be found in the existing information libraries.

Luke deduced from Ziana’s description that the group in question likely came from the Galia

region.

This was also the reason why the Scott Family frequently appeared in the Galia region over the past five years.

But he wasn’t in a position to be discontent, as he had witnessed their relationship firsthand.

At that time, the two were genuinely happy together.

With this thought, Yudel glanced towards Boris’ room upstairs before finally returning to his own.

Boris, however, was unaware of the conversation between the two brothers.

He was led by the butler, Calvin, to a room on the tenth floor.

Unexpectedly, a small sign hung on the door.

The sign was pink with two white wings and a line of text at the top: [Boyfriend’s Room].

Boris’ heart suddenly tightened as he looked at Calvin, who appeared unfazed and opened the door for him, “Mr. Lewis, please come in.”

The room was spotless.

It was evident that someone cleaned it frequently.

The decor was simple, in line with his taste, but there were some out-of-place girlish items that

seemed odd.

For example:

A Hello Kitty clock on the wall.

A pink Hello Kitty plush toy on the bed.

A pink camera on the table.

And a princess vanity table that shouldn’t have been there.

Everything was strange, but even stranger was the inexplicable familiarity he felt.

“Calvin, what is this…?”

Calvin smiled slightly, “Mr. Lewis, this is the room you used to live in. It’s getting late, and you should get some rest soon.”
