“LEGNA!”

“Easy, Your Majesty. Trust your mate. Trust Isidora. She’ll make it.”

The worry in the Lycan King’s booming voice rattled Legna’s skull, but she never took her eyes off the arena.

Her gaze pierced the mist, fixed on the mountain pressing down on her disciple.

The seconds passed, and the stones didn’t move. It looked like the end of her promising student.

The only reason the Lycan King didn’t move and reveal who he was was because he could still feel Isidora breathing.

But it was barely a breath, and his heart couldn’t take much more.

Still, he chose to believe in his mate. She was the most incredible woman he’d ever known.

Even Helen was beginning to doubt. She suddenly stood, uncertainty in her eyes.

Legna remained seated beside her, watching her with cold, calculating eyes.

She knew exactly what Helen had given Isidora.

A power enhancer that made all her energy burst out at once. Something unstable and dangerous.

It could hurt Isidora’s wolf in the long run, but Helen didn’t care about that.

She only wanted to look like the good one now. More trustworthy than Legna.

A cold smile spread across the Dark Estingia’s lips.

Of course, Legna had gotten Helen the drug she’d been searching for on the black market.

But she’d tricked her and given her something better instead.

Something that would finally break the barrier between Isidora and her wolf without hurting her

“Come on, Dora. You can do it. You can do this.”

Legna frowned. Her stare sharpened as she let her aura spread and reached out with her senses. Suddenly, the stones began to tremble, and the smile on her lips grew more predatory.

Scarlet power exploded in the air.

A beautiful seal of fleurs-de-lis spread across the entire protective shield, cracking it from end to end.

Chapter 217

“What’s happening?!”

Roars erupted. Then the howl of an awakening wolf shook the entire arena and shattered the shield into thousands of magical shards.

The mountain of stones moved as if it had a life of its own.

The rocks rose back into the air and fused together under the force of Estingia power, forming the huge head of a stone wolf with its jaws wide open.

It was only a head, but it was terrifying enough to make anyone shit their pants.

The Light Estingia in the arena almost did just that.

She looked up at the massive stone wolf’s head and began screaming that she surrendered.

Too late. It was already too late.

With a roar, the head lunged at her, driven by powerful Estingia magic. Its open jaws slammed down over her body as if swallowing her whole.

BOOOOM!

Dust shot into the air, and the entire platform nearly gave way from the impact.

Even the stands shook dangerously.

It felt as if the whole place was about to collapse.

A red mist rose into the air, so thick that many of the weaker Estingias and warriors could barely breathe.

“What… what is this?”

“I can’t… breathe…”

Some dropped to the ground trembling, fighting to pull air into their lungs.

No one could see clearly what was happening in the arena, but before they could figure it out, a crushing aura hit them.

It spread through the arena, defiant, sharp, and proud.

Clapping suddenly rang out as the mist and dust began to clear.

For a moment, every eye turned toward the viewing box..

Legna rose from her seat, applauding with pride all over her face.

Beside her. Helen stared at her, barely hiding her hatred.

It couldn’t be what she thought. Damn it, she’d only given that stupid Estingia a small energy boost.

“Congratulations to my disciple for advancing straight to Full Moon rank all on her own… Today I can say how proud I am to be your mentor.”

Everyone’s eyes went wide before turning back to the trembling platform covered in rubble.

Red fur came into view atop the mountain of rocks, and a pair of red eyes stared straight into Legna’s dark

ones.

A wolf… A massive and powerful Estingia wolf stood at the top, and she was magnificent.

Even Helen clenched her teeth in envy.

Why did Legna always have to get the best? She should’ve chosen Isidora from the start!

Suddenly, applause spread through the stands.

Growls and piercing cries joined it, filled with excitement over her strength and admiration for such an extraordinary warrior.

Few Estingias were ever promoted straight from one level to another without going through the trials.

But no one questioned Isidora’s strength.

In fact, many Full Moon Estingias watched her cautiously… She was far too strong and could become an Obsidian Estingia in the future.

“I declare Lady Isidora a new Full Moon Dark Estingia, and she has more than earned her place in the selection at the royal palace!”

Legna stood on the platform, her voice ringing out loud and clear, completely drowning Helen out and taking over her announcement.

The “Matriarch” could only sit back down with bile rising in her throat.

“This isn’t over, Legna. I’ll use the very woman you’re so proud of to tear you apart with her own hands.”

The poisonous words moved through Helen’s mind.

Legna had never interfered in anything before, but lately Helen could feel danger creeping closer.

Things were changing, and she wasn’t going to wait any longer to get rid of her rival.

Her eyes returned to the enormous wolf howling above the arena.

But the wolf’s red eyes suddenly shifted toward the stands, searching for that man

A sly smile curved Helen’s lips.

That slave was the key to taking control.

She just hoped that idiot Marion had made herself useful and already set tonight’s plan in motion.
