Exchanging glances with his teammates, Damon stepped cautiously out of the elevator.

Noticing their presence at the glass door, Damon turned and asked sharply, “Why are you following us?”

“Just wandering around to take a look,” Iris replied lightly.

The team fell silent, dumbfounded.

Here they were on a top–priority mission, yet two bystanders trailed behind like it was a casual outing.
