Maybe I made a big mistake in saving this girl’s life. She just arrived with me at the academy but I already want to punish her s0 badly for her smart mouth.

‘Admit it, we both want her desperately.‘ Vlad, my beast–wolf silently teases me. He’s been on a roll ever since I decided to bring

her here. I’m not even going to deny that I want her, but it’s for a different reason from Vlad’s.

Vlad wants to mark her as his mate, while me, I want to simply own her. Dominate her. I want to know the secret behind her

wolflessness and why her family treats her like shit. That’s all I want.

‘Yeah, just keep telling yourself that, bud.‘

‘Dude back off‘ I snap at my wolf in my mind. Vlad just chuckles in my head, seemingly enjoying teasing his other half.

I stop arguing with Vlad and focus on pulling Lyra behind me as I head toward my apartment, holding her arm tightly. She struggles the entire way, trying to pull her arm free. “Let me go! Just let me go!” she yells, but I ignore her.

The moment we step inside my apartment and the door clicks shut, she turns on me. Tears are streaming down her face, and her voice is thick with desperation. “It’s better you kill me now!” she screams. “Just kill me instead of trying to force yourself on me!”

I stop and look at her, feeling a bit confused. Why’s that the first thing she thought of? Is she being abused back at her pack? I glare at her to hide my thoughts. “Shut the fuck up, Lyra” I snap. “I have no interest in forcing myself on anyone.”

She seems to relax a little at my words, but the fear is still there. She’s definitely gone through something. Now that I’m standing directly in front of her, I can see different bruises scattered all over her body. Some look old, some look new. I quickly make a mental note to find out exactly what goes on in that Valeria pack.

I guide her through my apartment. It’s pretty spacious, with three bedrooms and a big hallway. Instead of taking her to her room at the far end, I head straight to the backyard, where my sister Kara’s garden is. When we step outside, Lyra stops in her tracks and gazes at the colorful flowers with total amazement.

I knew she would love flowers, just like Kara. Which is exactly what makes what I’m about to do so much fun.

“Now, for your punishment..” I turn to her. “Pluck out every single rose flower in this garden,” I command, pointing at the bushes.

Lyra stares at me, a look of shock on her face before it turns into anger. “Are..Are you serious? There are at least a thousand roses

here!

“That’s your punishment,” I say, grinning at her outraged expression.

“Why would you want to destroy this beautiful garden?” she asks, her voice trembling. ‘It’s cruel.

You have less than one hour to complete the task,” I tell her, ignoring her question. “If you aren’t done by then, you’ll get an even worse punishment.”

1 spin around to leave her there. As I walk off, I hear her grumbling curse words at me under her breath. I find myself almost laughing. I can’t deny that I love messing with her just to see that look in her eyes.
