The burning agony hits me instantly. Two of the blue arrows are buried deep in my chest, piercing my lungs. The pain is unlike anything i have ever f feels like liquid fire is being poured directly into my veins, melting my inner wolf from the inside out.

I let go of his shirt and look up at the morning sky one last time. I think of Frida. I think of our unborn baby. I pray they survive the storm.
