Chapter 330
Suddenly, Lyra’s body begins to tremble violently. I pull back and look at her. The frost on her skin melts away as she vibrates. Then a
high-pitched scream of rips from her throat.
Her eyes snap open, wide and wild. Before I can even pull away, she quickly jumps up from the mattress, her arms flying around my neck
as she launches herself right into my chest. We hug each other tightly, and her fingers clutch the back of my shirt desperately as she
gasps for air.
She’s finally awake. Lyra is back.
A triumphant roar echoes within my body as Vlad celebrates our victory, his joy vibrates through my bones. I hold her tightly against me,
spreading my hands on her back as the heat of her awakened body burns through my clothes. We slowly pull back just enough to stare at
each other, our breathing synchronized and heavy.
“Mate,” I breathe out, my voice thick and heavily layered with Vlad’s deep, beastly voice. My eyes turn a full-blown red as the raw mating
heat instantly spreads through my entire body, demanding completion.
Lyra stares back at me, her chest heaving. Then her eyes turns starts glowing white, signaling that she acknowledged the marking.
“Mate!” she cries out, and it’s not just her human voice. A clear, powerful voice echoes in the background of her words, vibrating through
the room. That’s Wyndra.
Her fox is fucking back!
Lyra’s POV
The moment I wake up, an explosive heat surges through my veins, making me feel like my entire body is about to completely combust. I sit upright, my fingers digging tightly into Kai’s broad shoulders as the freezing darkness that had trapped me vanishes into thin air.
I stare at Kai as my breath comes out in rough gasps. A sharp, throbbing ache pulses at the side of my neck, and without a single doubt, I know exactly what just happened. He bit and marked me.
The unyielding pull of the mate bond locks tightly around my chest. I am now his mate, completely bound to his soul, whether anyone likes it or not. Whether that girl he felt a ‘spark’ with likes it or not. Whether my family likes it or not
Then something else happens. I gasp as a dam breaks inside my brain. The mental fog shatters completely, and the lost memories come rushing back into my head in a relentless torrent.
Kai. I remember him. I remember everything.
Images flash behind my eyes with a dizzying speed as I continue to remember. I remember the first time I ever met Kai back in the oasis.

The memories keep coming, filling my head until I feel completely overwhelmed. I remember the first time his hand wrapped tightly around my neck, his green eyes burning as he told me that I belonged to him and him alone. I remember the moment he threw his body in front of mine, taking a poisoned blue arrow to the chest for me at the palace. He almost died, and I remember how panicked I was and how his mother begged me to heal him. I remember how he told me I didn’t mean anything to him, only for him to chase after later on.
I remember every single moment we came closer. Every single heated fight we had, every argument, and every moment where Kai showed me through his actions that he would die just to keep me safe. It’s him. It has always been him. The arrogant, fiercely protective Lycan
Prince who crashed into my miserable life and absolutely wouldn’t let me go.
My head spins from the weight of my memories and I feel tears instantly springing to my eyes. How could I have dared to forget him?
How could I have forgotten the man who holds my entire soul?
“Kai… I remember you!”
