Chapter 335
“Prince Roman, stop! What are you doing?!” the nurse gasps and takes a sharp step forward to block my path to the exit. Your hamis haven’t fully recovered yet! The bones alignment isn’t finished! You need to lie back down immediately!”
‘Get the fuck out of my way before I tear you apart,’ I growl, my voice dropping into a low, terrifying register that makes her fach.
A murderous fury consumes my entire body as I push past her, completely ignoring her cries as I throw the push the door open. I storm out of the medical wing with my bare feet against the floor.
The pain in my wrists and mending bones is absolutely nothing compared to the agonizing fire ripping through my heart. I feel like tearing someone’s throat out with my bare teeth. I feel like killing absolutely anyone who dares to cross my path right now.
I burst through the back exit doors and stumble out into the secluded courtyard behind the clinic. A loud, feral roar breaks from my
throat as I yell into the air, clenching my fists until the fresh stitches on my arms split open.
“I will still not let her go!” I scream into the wind, my fangs extending completely as i feel myself half-shift. “I would rather fucking die
than let him keep her! She is mine! Lyra Diamond is mine!”
“The time my father gave you is fast running out, you know.”
A smooth, mocking voice suddenly cuts through the quiet of the courtyard.
I freeze instantly, my muscles locking up. I violently spin around, my claws sliding out as I prepare to slaughter whoever dared to sneak
up on me.
A girl with pitch-black hair steps forward out of the dark. She is wearing a dark dress, and her dark eyes shine with a cold kind of amusement as she watches me struggle to breathe. As my gaze traces the sharp lines of her face, i absently note how she somehow feels familiar, like I’m looking at someone I should know.
“Who the hell are you?!” I demand, a low growl vibrating heavily in my chest. “What are you doing here?”
A smirk touches her lips as she takes another step into the morning light, her dark hair catching the wind.
“I’m Marina,” she says clearly in a smooth voice. She sounds calm and entirely devoid of fear. Marina… where have I heard that name?
“If you come with me right now, I will help you find a way to get that fox girl back into your arms.”
I stand completely frozen, the anger in my veins turning to shock as I stare at her features. A sudden realization hits me like a lightning bolt. The sharp angle of her jawline, the tilted shape of her blue eyes, the delicate slope of her nose… she looks exactly like her.
She looks exactly like Lyra. But different, like an evil twin.

Chapter 335
“I don’t have all day to waste on a broken Lycan who can’t even claim his own mate,” Marina says with a sigh. Then she casually turns around and begins to walk back to wherever she crawled out of.

My mind races at a million miles an hour, the pressure suffocating me. The mate bond is sealed, Kai is guarding her, and Varlac is coming
to claim my head by the weekend if I fail.
This dark girl is my absolute last chance to survive and take what is mine.
Before she can disappear completely, panic explodes in my chest.
