**The Man Who Built an Empire from Power—and Tried to Rebuild Me from Ruins by Caden Blake**
**Chapter 254.**
**Theo’s POV.**
I can hardly contain the fury bubbling inside me, a storm ready to unleash itself. The thought of confronting that scumbag and erasing him from existence fills me with a fierce determination.
Ever since we left the safety of our home, my instincts have been on high alert, heightened by an unsettling feeling that gnaws at me. I can’t shake the worry that Talia shouldn’t be here with us.
I know she’s keeping something from me, a secret that she refuses to share. “I’m fine,” she insists, her voice steady, but I can see the flicker of something behind her eyes. “You don’t need to worry.” But how can I not worry?
When I witnessed her commanding the tigers with such authority, I was taken aback. It’s astonishing how effortlessly she wields that power, and in this moment, I’m grateful for the body camera capturing her brilliance. The other families need to witness our princess in her element, a true force of nature.
As she lowers her sniper rifle, she hands it to me, her fingers brushing against mine, sending a jolt through me. I return the gesture by passing her the handgun she asked me to keep safe in the car.
With Poseidon now out of the vehicle, it’s our cue to emerge from our hiding spot.
From our concealed position, I can see Cillian’s head bobbing along with another man—Knox, the one who owns Poseidon. The tension in the air is palpable, thick enough to cut with a knife.
Talia makes a peculiar sound with her mouth, a signal I’ve come to recognize. The moment it escapes her lips, Zeus and Hades spring into action, racing forward with unbridled energy.
Emerging from our cover, Talia conceals the handgun behind her back, and we follow closely behind her, adrenaline coursing through our veins.
As Poseidon locks his gaze on Zeus and Hades racing towards him, he begins to charge, an instinctive reaction that suggests he’s ready to attack.
Knox and Cillian exit their car, eyes widening in surprise as they spot Talia. This distraction gives our brothers the perfect opportunity to stealthily approach from behind.
With another sharp whistle, Talia redirects Poseidon’s attention from the tigers to herself, while Zeus and Hades continue their sprint towards Knox and Cillian.
When Poseidon closes the gap, Talia whistles once more, commanding him to slow down. He obediently rubs his massive head against her legs, a clear sign of submission.
Now that she has secured control over Poseidon, those of us tasked with guarding her move in closer, ready to defend her at a moment’s notice.
Initially, Poseidon growls at us, a warning, but Talia quickly silences him with a gentle command.
I watch her, my heart racing, as she readies her handgun, her focus unwavering on Zeus and Hades, who are now dangerously close to Knox.
Knox raises his weapon, aiming at the two tigers barreling towards him. But before he can pull the trigger, Talia’s shot rings out, a bullet finding its mark between his eyes. In the same instant, Zeus and Hades leap onto Cillian, pinning him to the ground with a ferocity that sends chills down my spine.
Cillian screams, desperate for release from the grip of the two tigers, but we all know that only Talia holds the power to command them now.
As we spot Leon, Victor, Dominic, and Santiago surrounding Cillian with their weapons drawn, Talia gives a sharp whistle. Instantly, Zeus and Hades release their hold, returning to her side, tails wagging in excitement.
Poseidon, witnessing the reunion, begins to leap around playfully, as if celebrating their return.
Cillian, now cuffed, is dragged toward a waiting vehicle. Our crew has successfully subdued all of his guards, who are now also in handcuffs, a testament to our strategic planning.
Some of our allies from within the Irish mafia are cuffed too, but it’s merely for show. They’ve turned on their own since we initiated the attack, proving their loyalty to us.
I sink into the couch, Camilla settling on my lap as we all take in the sight of our growing family.
Dina and Michelle beam with joy, clearly thrilled to have Poseidon back in our midst. It’s remarkable to think that Talia, Dina, and Michelle have raised these majestic tigers since they were mere cubs.
As everyone gathers in the living room post-shower, Talia glances up at Leon and Dad.
“I take it Cillian is now secured in the warehouse, awaiting his fate?” she asks, her smile bright and innocent.
We all hold our breath, the thought of Talia being anywhere near that monster sending shivers down our spines, even if he’s locked away where he can’t harm her.
“That’s correct,” Leon replies cautiously. “Good! Please give him a few hits from me, and make sure to… uh, take care of his more private parts for me,” Talia adds, her innocent smile juxtaposed with the dark request.
When she mentions the severing of his manhood, I can’t help but notice the collective tightening of grips among the men in the room, hands instinctively moving to protect their own. We exchange wide-eyed glances, caught off guard by her unexpected ferocity.
“Wait, are you saying you don’t plan to see him yourself?” Uncle Emmanuel asks, disbelief etched across his face.
Talia simply shakes her head, still smiling. “No, he’s all yours, but please, get some payback for me.” Her light-hearted tone contrasts starkly with the gravity of her words, and she returns to rubbing Poseidon’s belly, blissfully unaware of the shock she’s left us in.
We stare at her in astonishment, a wave of relief washing over us as we realize she’s not interested in revenge herself.
Shortly after, it’s time for dinner, and Talia happily settles onto Grandpa’s lap, her laughter echoing through the room, a sound that reassures us all that she’s truly safe.
