The Mafia Princess Return (Talia) novel Chapter 257

**The Mafia Princess Returns**

**Chapter 257**

**Kayden’s POV**

Today marks a significant milestone—the twins’ birthday. As I sit here, a whirlwind of emotions churns within me. I can hardly contain my nerves, and for countless reasons, this day feels monumental.

Today is the day we reveal Talia’s pregnancy to everyone. I find myself praying that the news will be met with joy and acceptance.

Our trip to the mall was not just about picking up gifts for Theo; we ended up getting a little something for everyone. It was a small gesture, but it felt right to include the whole family in this celebration.

The seven of us have already prepped for the day ahead. The guys and I have donned an array of jeans paired with button-up shirts, each in a different shade. It never ceases to amaze me how our styles mirror one another, yet each of us brings our own flair with color.

Talia, radiant as ever, has chosen an outfit that perfectly complements her. She wears white shorts with delicate lace edges, layered with a playful purple skirt, and an off-the-shoulder white top that accentuates her figure beautifully. Her makeup is light, just enough to highlight her features, and Carter has skillfully styled her hair into a charming half-up, half-down do. We all took extra care with our appearances today; after all, it’s our angel’s special day.

As we descend into the dining room, we carefully place gifts on each person’s plate. It’s essential that everyone sits where we’ve designated them, ensuring the gifts are correctly delivered.

Theo, ever the affectionate brother, expressed yesterday that he wanted Talia by his side for most of the day. He’s also aware of the surprise we have in store.

As the family begins to gather in the dining room for breakfast, a wave of excitement fills the air. Everyone is eager to wish Talia and Theo a happy birthday, showering them with hugs and warm wishes.

Once everyone settles into their seats, a wave of curiosity sweeps over them as they gaze at the gifts before them. Talia, with a playful yet authoritative tone, reminds them, “You can’t open them until I say so!”

Theo, full of enthusiasm, tries to pull Talia onto his lap. We all take our seats, the atmosphere thick with anticipation as everyone turns their eyes to Talia, awaiting her cue.

I can practically feel the collective excitement in the room, and I suspect that Talia, my friends, and I are all holding our breath in unison.

Uncle Caleb, with a knowing smile, seems to have an inkling of what’s about to unfold. He shares a conspiratorial glance with Talia, who responds with a cheeky wink.

“Alright, everyone,” Talia begins, her voice sweet and inviting. “As you can see, each of you has a gift in front of you. I want you all to open them at the same time. No reactions until everyone has unveiled their gifts, and please, no peeking at what’s inside until the very end.” Her bright smile adds to the air of excitement.

As everyone begins to unwrap their gifts, they follow her instructions closely, peering into their boxes with wide, teary eyes, and grinning from ear to ear.

Theo looks at Talia, his smile stretching wider than I’ve ever seen before, before pulling her into a warm embrace. “Principessa, does this mean what I think it means?” Uncle Arthur’s voice quivers with emotion, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Talia gently releases herself from Theo’s hug and stands up, addressing everyone with a radiant smile. “Yes, I’m pregnant with twins, and today marks exactly 15 weeks.”
