**The Mafia Princess Returns**
**Chapter 267**
**Theo’s POV**
Every single day, I find myself marveling at how my twin sister seems to radiate more brilliance with each passing moment. It’s as if she’s been touched by a celestial glow. Her once flat stomach has transformed into a beautiful, round curve, yet she carries it with such grace that exhaustion never seems to touch her.
I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride as I watch her navigate this new chapter in her life. Talia continues to amaze me, and I am in awe of all that she has accomplished thus far. Each afternoon, when my siblings and I return from school, we find her, along with Mom, Auntie Linda, Auntie Lyla, Auntie Alice, Auntie Michelle, and Auntie Elena, deeply engrossed in preparations for the wedding and the nursery.
The nursery, a space filled with love and anticipation, will be situated in what used to be my old room, conveniently located next to Talia’s. A door will be installed between her room and the nursery, providing easy access for her and her partner to attend to their little ones. The plan is to have the babies sleep in their room for a while, gradually helping them adjust to their own space.
Having recently moved into Camilla’s bedroom, I find it easy to adapt. My only concern is ensuring that Talia and the babies receive everything they need. That’s what truly matters to me.
Right now, I gently pull Talia closer to my side, ensuring she’s comfortable. She leans back against me, resting her head on my chest, while Luke and Nico tenderly cradle her feet in their laps. Their protectiveness has heightened as her pregnancy progresses. They are ever-vigilant, never straying far from her side, even accompanying her to the bathroom and standing guard just outside in case she needs them.
“Alright, let’s kick things off with the gender-neutral gifts before we dive into the cakes. It’ll give us a moment to let the food settle,” Grandma suggests, her voice warm and inviting. We all nod in agreement, eager to see what’s in store.
One by one, we present our gifts, and Talia, relaxed and content, allows her partners to unwrap them. It’s heartwarming to see her so at ease. They receive an array of adorable baby clothes—some simple white ones, others a bit warmer, and Camilla and I have chosen two that are perfect for strolls outside, complete with charming bear ears.
Grandma and Grandpa have gifted them a twin stroller, while Leon has provided car seats that are touted as the best on the market. Honestly, it seems they’ve received everything anyone could possibly need for newborns.
Mom and Dad have promised to renovate my old bedroom, preparing it for the twins, even though they will initially sleep in their own room. Auntie Linda and Uncle Jacob have contributed cribs, while Auntie Michelle and Uncle Dina have provided two changing tables.
After unwrapping so many presents, we finally reach the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Uncle Caleb and Miranda enter, each carrying a beautifully decorated cake. I can feel a flutter of excitement in my stomach, and I’m not even the one expecting a child.
“I really hope we get a little princess this time; our family could use a few more,” I think to myself, glancing around at the eager faces surrounding me.
“As much as we would love the honor of cutting the cakes, it’s only fitting that the mother-to-be takes charge of that,” Bradley says, his face beaming with a bright smile, and the others nod in agreement.
