Seeing Dean drooling at Gustavo's dinner, Charlie asked curiously, "Has Gustavo always been so lofty here?"
"Yes," Dean responded and hissed in pain as his own saliva came into contact with the wound in his mouth. Then, he cleared his throat, frowned a little because of the pain, and continued, "He has been this high-profile since the day he was imprisoned. He brought the chef over from Mexico. I heard they have a specific corner in the kitchen where his chef makes three meals for him daily."
Speaking of this, Dean whined in envy, "Brooklyn Prison is a federal prison, and it doesn't permit conjugal visits, but Gustavo has privileges. He has three three-hour conjugal visits a week. I even heard that his underlings arrange women for his entertainment from time to time..."
Charlie frowned skeptically as he noted Dean's envious expression. "Why are you jealous? Aren't you gay?"
"I-I..." Dean spluttered with a miserable wince. "I'm not... I wouldn't have touched those guys if I had met a woman here. I'm forced to do so. I'd be as straight as an arrow if I could spend time with women every week."
Charlie chuckled and stopped talking. He was observing the surroundings. Almost all the inmates in Areas 1 and 2 had arrived, but there was no sight of Biden.
After taking his meal, instead of going to the designated area where Dean and the others sat, Charlie went to the back of the line and said to Leandro, "Leandro, right? I'm Andrew's friend. He asked me to see you and said you could help me whenever needed."
Upon hearing Andrew's name, Leandro hurriedly pointed to a table in the corner and replied, "Wait for me at that table. I'll be right there."
With a nod, Charlie took his tray and went to the table that Leandro had pointed at.
