While waiting for Janus, Charlie met several Ten Thousand Armies agents in Canada.
These agents were different from the mercenaries of Ten Thousand Armies headquarters. Instead of participating in the group's military operations around the world, they were stationed in certain countries and regions with safe and legal identities and became members of the secret liaison station.
In addition to mandatory military training, their daily duties mainly included building safe houses and contact points in the local area and secretly stockpiling weapons and equipment, transportation, cash, gold, and even false identities so that they could carry out other missions in the area.
Ten Thousand Armies had three secret liaison stations in Canada located in Vancouver in the west, Toronto in the east, and Edmonton in the central region.
This time, the agent dispatched by Porter was from the secret liaison station stationed in Toronto.
These agents appeared to be employees of a travel company that was mainly responsible for receiving tourists from all over the world to Canada, and they did have a legitimate business. There were more than 100 employees in the company. Only a dozen of them were Ten Thousand Armies agents, and the rest were formal employees recruited by the company.
These agents had clean-cut identities. They presented themselves as corporate executives, exuding the demeanor of the elite class. When they traveled together, they clearly appeared to be on a business trip. Coupled with their legitimate identities and career backgrounds, they could easily withstand thorough background checks.
The only task Charlie assigned them was to escort Janus to Aurous Hill and complete the handover of the Four-Sided Treasure Tower with Emmett.
Security was further ensured since they did not know Janus or that he was returning to Oskia with the Four-Sided Treasure Tower.
Moreover, Charlie was absolutely certain that Julien and Royce would never reveal the truth that they had worked with him to transport the treasure tower out of the States.
Therefore, the Rothschild family would never divert their attention in this direction, further enhancing the security of Janus's return to Oskia with the treasure tower.
In addition to arranging these agents to protect Janus, they specially arranged an American agent to secretly send Charlie back to the United States. The agent had his own connections at the immigration office at the US-Canada border which he had been working with for many years. Besides that, he owned a well-disguised RV station wagon that could easily hide two to three people and successfully transport them across the border.
Half an hour later, a private jet took off from Montreal Airport and disappeared into the skyline.
The Four-Sided Treasure Tower that had left Oskia for two centuries was finally on its way home.
Charlie watched the plane gradually disappear behind the clouds and then got into the American agent's wagon to the US-Canada border checkpoint.
He had originally planned to visit Ottawa to meet with Helena, but considering that Raymond was still in the hospital and that the Oskian government might announce the return of the Four-Sided Treasure Tower in as little as ten hours, he couldn't afford to waste time. He needed to make preparations in advance to ensure Raymond's safety.
Charlie's only concern was that Harrison would lose his mind and retaliate against Raymond.
Helena was in Canada for a four-day visit. If he could finish the New York affairs in four days, he would go to Canada and thank her personally for her help.
