Charlie asked, "Is New York still under lockdown?"

"Yes." Julien nodded. "My father still thinks that the Four-Sided Treasure Tower is in New York, or at least that is what he hopes for. New York should remain under lockdown as long as the whereabouts of the tower is not publicly announced."

As he spoke, he glanced at Raymond and added, "This time, he's planning to take a two-pronged approach—continuing to lock down New York and find out more clues while at the same time releasing Mr. Cole and having Hank keep a close watch on him."

"It seems both of his approaches are missteps." Charlie chuckled. "Hank is too busy to keep an eye on Mr. Cole. He's likely busy dealing with the Manhattan Hospital's surveillance system. Before dawn, all of the hospital's surveillance footage will be completely destroyed beyond recovery. Meanwhile, Mr. Cole will temporarily vanish from the U.S., and for some time, no one will know his whereabouts."

Julien nodded with a smile. This time, he had worked with Charlie and played a trick on Harrison.

Not only did he help Charlie transfer the Four-Sided Treasure Tower out of the country, but now, he also had to help Charlie transport Raymond, the culprit of the entire scandal. If Harrison knew this side of the story, he would probably kill him.

Thinking that he and Charlie were in the same boat now, he asked involuntarily, "When will the news of the tower's return to Oskia be made public?"

Charlie checked his watch and smiled. "It should be around morning. Don't worry. I have everything under control, and there won't be any more issues."

Julien immediately thought Charlie's words made perfect sense.

Harrison had been feeling anxious lately. If he suffered a blow because of the news and fell seriously ill, Julien might be able to succeed the throne.

Even if he couldn't officially assume the position, at the very least, he could temporarily manage the family affairs. Once he took that step forward, his position as the heir would essentially be secured.

He was grinning from ear to ear as he thought about this. "Don't worry. When I become the head of the family, I will not forget about your help!"

Charlie nodded and smirked as he watched Julien's face fill with excitement and expectation. He mumbled under his breath, "I'll let you have the time of your life for now. I have to help your old pop even if he falls ill. Without him, I bet you won't obey me obediently in the future."
