Tarlon asked, "Lord, what should we do next?"
"Go back to New York!" Fleur snapped. "The Rothschilds have locked down New York so tightly that even I can't slip under their noses. If the mysterious man really left New York with the item I'm looking for, it'll make things more difficult. Maybe he's still hiding in New York, waiting for a chance to strike! I must find that treasure now that I'm in America!"
As soon as Fleur was done speaking, Tarlon's phone beeped continuously, and multiple notifications popped up on the screen.
He took out his phone and saw that the notifications were mostly from Oskia news and social media apps.
The headlines were almost all the same.
He muttered the headlines while reading through it, "The Four-Sided Treasure Tower, the national treasure of the Tang Dynasty, has returned to Oskia... Is this thing so important? So many media outlets released the news at the same time..."
"What did you say?!" Fleur blurted out in shock when she heard Tarlon's words. Her eyes instantly widened. "The Four-Sided Treasure Tower has returned to Oskia?!"
"Yes." Tarlon handed the phone to Fleur and remarked, "Look. I've received many similar notifications."
As he said this, something flashed across his mind, and he yelped, "Wait a minute! Is this the item you were looking for?!"
Blood drained from Fleur's face. She snatched the phone, clicked on one of the notifications, and a piece of headline news immediately appeared on the screen. It was an emergency news broadcast from a TV station, so as she clicked on it, a video started to play.
