The components of the Riot Mark III gradually accumulated.

Both the external parts and the internal parts consisted of superdimensional archemetal pieces that would form a near-solid mass once they were pieced together. The superdimensionality ratio of these archemetal pieces was not that high compared to raw superdimensional matter.

The former was not exactly taking away any matter from the higher dimensions, but they occupied valuable space that could have been used to increase the proportion of superdimensional matter.

This was the inherent shortcoming of the alloy formulas attained by Gloriana. She wished she could increase the superdimensionality ratio.

The higher the ratio, the tougher and more resilient the resulting product!

However, this was an R&D project of such immense difficulty that it could only be done by the research departments of the major powers.

The Larkinsons could barely get started on it with their own homegrown institutions due to their stockpiles of superdimensional matter, but their research efficiency was not particularly high.

Ves inwardly shook his head. Considering his high status within the Red Collective, he no longer had to rely on the Larkinson Clan's own research endeavors to obtain the good stuff. Once he became a tier 2 galactic citizen, all sorts of trading opportunities would open up to him. As long as he was willing to exchange chips, it was not impossible to get his hands on more advanced alloy formulas, especially in the future.

In any case, the superdimensionality ratio of the Riot Mark III was not particularly high, but it was not too low either.

The reason why this was the case was due to the use of armor-grade superdimensional matter.

Although it was inferior to weapon-grade superdimensional matter, the armor-grade stuff was still good enough to carry the label of high-grade.

Only a modest amount of armor-grade matter already shifted a large amount of mass into the higher dimension!

The Superdimensional Chaos Armor therefore turned into a robust superdimensional archemetal armor system that not only offered an incredible amount of protection, but was also integrated with simple components that increased the Riot Mark III's ability to preserve his performance under fire!

In order to enhance the defenses even further, the Chaos Armor could be energized to boost its damage resistance against most forms of attack. This imposed a greater load on the power reactor, but it was well worth the price considering that the expert mech did not make use of energy weapons.

All of this only amounted to the most obvious technical features of the Superdimensional Chaos Armor.

As much as Ves became infected by the hype of superdimensional technology, he did not forget about the metaphysical properties of the armor.

"It is too bad that Jovy is not here to see his work come to fruition." He sighed.

His wife frowned. "He could have at least warned us before he left."

Jovy's unexpected absence from the Bluejay Fleet was another reason why she was upset at the continuous delays.

If they fabricated the Riot Mark III sooner, then they may have been able to work alongside RA liaison in this workshop.

Strictly speaking, his presence was not essential. Jovy worked as a contributor who lent his design philosophy as well as other pieces of knowledge to imbue the Chaos Armor with the ability to defy reality in a special manner.

"The Red Association issued a high priority recall order to him." Ves mentioned. "The mechers do not do this casually. It most certainly means a bigshot has personally summoned him for an important purpose. My guess is that a Master Mech Designer or other important official wanted to question Jovy about myself now that I am on track to become a tier 2 galactic citizen. He knows me a lot better than people who have only been able to observe me at a distance. We worked on the same mech design project and have compared our design philosophies to each other. He is my friend, and that means that he can offer insights that others simply cannot."

"Are you not worried that he will divulge information that you would rather want to remain buried?" His wife asked with a measure of concern.

Ves shrugged. "Even if I do, what difference does that make? I am very clear that Jovy owes his loyalty to the Red Association. He has an obligation to be truthful when questioned by his fellow mechers. I will not ask him to betray his oath and turn against his own organization for selfish reasons. Besides, I am no longer the small third-class or second-class mech designer from the past. I am a tier 2 galactic citizen. Do you know what that means? It means that the established institutions of red humanity work for me instead of the other way around. So long as my secrets do not fundamentally threaten our civilization, they will be happy to sweep inconvenient facts under the rug."

The more time Ves spent among the upper echelon of human society, the more he understood how he should play the game.

The bigger picture mattered more than the smaller details. The more important you became, the more you could get away with… minor transgressions.

In fact, it was not impossible to get away with greater transgressions so long as you had the strength to deter retribution. This was how the Polymath brazenly got away with claiming Bridgehead One.

"Do you think that Jovy will return after he has concluded his report?"

"I expect him to." Ves said. "He will likely have orders to stay in touch with me and work together with us more frequently. In order to be of greater service to us, he is likely being taught a bunch of cutting-edge knowledge that will be very helpful in our future mech design projects. It is what I would do if I was in their place. Jovy is my strongest connection to the RA."

Now that Ves became increasingly more invested in the Red Collective, the mechers wanted to make sure that he would not forget his old buddies. There was great value in maintaining the friendship and support of the department head of the Phase Lord Department..

Though Ves certainly missed Jovy's input, he already understood just enough about the RA mech designer's design philosophy to be able to fabricate the Chaos Armor components without any apparent issue.

Jovy's touch had already spread across the mech design. So long as Ves kept this in mind, the resulting superdimensional archetech components gained a touch of chaos and instability that could not be explained.

This already became evident when he put the finished parts under a scanner. The sophisticated device was not able to maintain as much accuracy as before.
