Gloriana’s proposal highlighted an excellent if somewhat pricey enlightenment fruit.

If Ves put the current crisis aside, then he would still be willing to invest 400 Ascension Points into redeeming the Principles of a Divine Kingdom.

However, it may take a year or two for him to get around to doing so. Red humanity still had to overcome a lot of perils. Ves may be forced to put out so many fires across human-occupied space that he wouldn’t be able to save up so much AP for a big purchase.

This was why he found Gloriana’s proposal so attractive. It gave him a convenient and legitimate reason to invest so much AP in an enlightenment fruit that seemed to yield the most in the long term.

However, the vagueness regarding its knowledge and how quickly Saint Commander Casella Ingvar could incorporate it into her existing Command Field remained a point of concern.

"The risk level of your proposal may not be as high as that of Alexa’s proposal, but it is not trivial." Ves voiced his own judgment. "Still, it promises to give us the greatest overall benefits, especially outside of the immediate context. The knowledge of this enlightenment fruit possesses great strategic value to red humanity. If it has the potential to increase the breakthrough rate of Master Mech Designers and peak ace pilots by just 1 or 2 percent, then its actual worth should be at least ten times higher as far as I am concerned! In fact, I suspect that the actual impact of this repository of knowledge may be closer to 10 or 20 percent!"

While those figures sounded rather low, it could still make an enormous difference when applied to an entire civilization!

Ves knew that the biggest shortcomings of mech pilots and mech designers was the shallowness of their heritage.

Both professions had been invented relatively recently.

Although they had experienced a huge amount of development since their introduction more than 4 centuries ago, mech pilots and mech designers still lacked a lot of clarity about the conditions they had to meet in order to successfully break through to the next rank.

This was especially an acute problem for those at the cusp of attaining godhood!

His fate and the fate of the Larkinson Clan was long tied to red humanity’s survival and prosperity.

Even if he had to give up on a potential monopoly, he would not feel any regret, because he would benefit much more if other red humans became strong enough to dominate the Red Ocean.

Besides, he did not think that others would be ungrateful.

The major players had always recognized his past contributions. He received an abundant amount of reputation and gained access to a lot of exclusive goods and services unreachable by low-tier galactic citizens.

Depending on the effect of the Principles of a Divine Kingdom, the major players should definitely feel obliged to grant him astronomical rewards for freely sharing such valuable knowledge!
